Rock Band 2 - Playstation 3 (Game only)

Great game for everyone!

One of the best games to ever come out for consoles, especially if you love listening to music and pretending to rock out. I play (relatively speaking) the drums on an ekit in front of a 50" plasma while the music comes through my Klipsch speakers, (yes I'm a nerd). What better way to enjoy playing RB? Though the songs do get boring after a while, there is tons of dlc that can be purchased!

This game is awesome! Originally the only music based game that I had was band hero. This game is WAY better! I love the songs, and because of this game I learned to love new songs that I never would have considered. I have never played rock band 1 so I can't compare, but everyone tells me that this is much better. The graphics on this game are really good. I will definitely be buying rock band 3!

Thanks to amazon, now I own the whole Rock Band series. This second main title holds an epic songs collection, which I was really wshing to play, like Eye of tiger, Come out and play, Aqualung, White weeding, Today, Everlong, and a long etcetera. Rock Band 2 by self is a great game, with a funny tour mode with a rich variety of customization options.

Being a large fan of rock band I purchased this game in a combo pack with RB1 and Beatles Rock Band. I enjoyed the first rock band game so I decided to pick them all up for a reasonable price. The game itself is the same, you hit the colors as they come at you. The new list of songs is right up my alley with bands like Rise Against, Paramore, Billy Idol, Journey, and more.The Dev tried to add a few new twists into the game that play rather nicely such as double or nothing challenges that apply to both money and fans. The challenges seem to be chosen at random and offer some kind of bonus i.e. no money but twice the fans(and vice versa), Hot Topic Sponsorship, impress the MTV scouts, etc... A lot of the clothing looks familiar from the first game but there are a few new pieces thrown in to help it look fresh. So if you played the first one and had a look you liked it's probably there. The hair and ink section seems to have been given more love this time around. Lots more hair choices and a different set of tattoos never hurts.Difficulty for this game is hard to judge since it's by song but I feel that it right around where the first one is but more difficult than the Beatles game. The difficulty breakdown is now visible by instrument per song. So if you look at White Wedding it shows you 1-5 points of difficulty for each singer, guitar, bass, and drums.Overall I am happy that I purchased this game, it has enough content that I don't mind playing but there are patches where I don't know the songs that makes it kinda boring in my opinion. A reasonable purchase if you want more Rock Band that seems fresh and isn't band specific.

I've always wanted to learn how to drum but hey I can't go out and buy a thousand dollar Pearl drum set. I bought this game in a bundle with all the instruments and was very happy with all of it. I'm not the best drummer but at least I can pretend whilst playing the game. I love the song selection and how easy it is to learn.

The game did not come with the guide found on the inside cover of the game. I only bought this game because I needed it to transfer the content to RB3 so I just have to use the RB# game disc to play all the songs from the previous 2 RB games. I want to return this game and get my money back. It didn't meet my needs.

This is one of my favourite games to play with other people. I love both drums and guitar, but I'm sure most people know that the vocals is the hardest position to fill. So usually it's two players. I could always get another guitar, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

Got what I expected for a used version, it would freeze a bit at the beginning theme, but that's all, the rest of the game play is great.
