I recently adopted a bonsai on a whim, and then became a responsible parent overnight when I read about them. I got concerned about the right fertilizer for a juniper bonsai, and preferred a liquid fertilizer over pebbles of fertilizer. I was really worried I would burn the roots it since it is so small, but I used less than the recommended amount (I used one half of a teaspoon), and days later it was healthy and it perked right back up again! I might have burnt if I didn't take my bonsai's size into consideration and poured in a teaspoon, so make sure you watch how much you give your plant with this OR ANY fertilizer.

Although I bought it for a bonsai plant, I have been using this fertilizer on all my house plants which presently consist of several varieties of zygocactus, a peace lily, an African violet and a palm tree. All have responded to it, improved growth and several of the zygocactus are reblooming after just going through an extended bloom from Thanksgiving through Christmas. It only takes 2 tsp per half gallon of water and says it's safe to use at every watering, I just shake well to make sure it's thoroughly mixed.

Only leaving four stars because in all honesty, it’s often times hard to tell if it’s the fertilizers fault for the bonsai not growing properly. There are many many different things that may cause a bonsai not to develop properly, and it’s hard to narrow it down to this. While using this I haven’t noticed any extreme growth- but it did bud quicker than usual, and the leaves appear greener and more lush. What I love about this fert. Is the fact that it’s extremely concentrated and lasts much longer than typical fertilizer. Its easy to use, directions are straightforward and seller is great.

I purchased a small bonsai starter kit while on vacation. Four of the seeds of many sprouted, but a few did not. Knowing that bonsai can benefit from being fertilized, I followed the directions after receiving this product. I put the cloudy mixture into a squirt bottle, and have been using it regularly to encourage growth. Not only are my little bonsai sprouts thriving, this fertilizer helped to sprout up the remaining seeds! My aloe is also enjoying this fertilizer, but I will probably purchase this company's succulent fertilizer in the near future so that my aloe plant doesn't feel left out! :)

It doesn’t work very well

Brought my tree back to life however I wouldn’t recommend buying this for that purpose. It’s a great product for helping your plants grow during seasons it doesn’t do so well.

This product is working great for my bonsais. I have two trees that I use this product on and so far both trees are responding well to it! The value for the price is great as you don't just pour it on like my previous fertilizer, but it's concentrated so you water it down, making it last much longer. Very happy with the product so far and highly recommend!

My plant was dying: trunk shrinking, leaves yellowing and falling. Bought this after reading reviews. So happy i did just in time. At first, after spraying, half of the remaining leaves fell off. But few days later, it is growing strong. Leaves are greener and thicker. Trunk look healthier. I am hopeful.
