Petmate Double Treat Ball

I think mine was used. It came really dirty on both the inside and outside. You twist it to open so it’s easy to “assemble” and would probably be more secure when my cat swat at it. It smells like... a new car?? The seal for the catnip chamber was already opened and fell out when I unscrewed the two halves, so be careful not to lose it. The hole for the treats to come out is huge! I can stick my thumb through it! I haven’t used for my cat yet, but I agree with the other reviews that food would probably pour out too fast. I wanted it to keep my cat busy and engaged during meal time especially at night while I sleep, so I might return this, but if you are just using big treats, it might work fine.Edit: it didn’t pour out as fast as I thought, so I’m keeping it. It works well enough for what I need it for, but be aware of what you and your pet need it for.

It’s better than the hard plastic one I had. Small treats come out too easily and some hairball treats won’t come out at all. I don’t know what the answer is to this problem . It is sturdy and rolls well.

I love this treat ball. The threading makes it really easy to open and close the ball, especially with treats in it. While I don't use the catnip section right now I do like that it is there. I'm sure it's the greatest thing in the world to some cats.Don't be surprised if your cat doesn't take to it right away. My cat didn't play with it by herself for about two weeks but now she will go at it all the time, sometimes for 10 minutes at a time. We had to teach her that treats come out of it, once she figured that out life was great. It was definitely worth the effort and patience to get her to enjoy this new toy.

The hole is too big and you can't adjust it. The cat food and treats just fell out. I'm returning it today just got it yesterday.

Like most cat toys, my cat prefers the packaging. It does what it says it does, but my kitty is utterly uninterested no matter how much Carnot I put in it.

The hole is too large. My cats who love catnip didn't even notice the catnip in the ball. once the food was gone they were done and the food literally poured out. It didn't take much work at all for them to get it out. On the positive side it is well made and stays shut.

The hole is to big and treats just pour out and spill every where. Waste of money

Figuring out how to get my cat to play with it, treats also come out too fast. Trying not to make him a fat cat :)

It’s too heavy for a cat. My dog plays with it more...
