Big Toe Straightener Hallux Valgus Schiene Orthese Bunion Aid Splint (Single) (Large (UK 10-12)

Its OK. Seems to put some traction on the big toe, so it helps. Can only wear it in bed as it wont fit into my shoes.

Not very good

I wear this at home, both in bed and also around the house, and am sure it is helping my bunion (or at least helping prevent it getting any worse, as my podiatrist said it would never actually get better). After using this splint (and another very similar one previously, which eventually wore out) for a long time, I'm sure my big toe is straighter and I have more function in the toe joint - also haven't had any pain in the toe joint for ages now, which I think is thanks to these splints helping straighten the joint and getting it back to more like normal. I still have the moderate bunion but it seems better in terms of these aspects. This splint is a bit too big to wear with shoes (but fine with my slippers), so I've also bought more slimline fabric ones to wear with shoes to hopefully increase the effects I've seen, although they are less strong in terms of the splint action than this, but allow use for more time. With this one the hinge works well and you can walk in it fine although it is slightly restrictive. All in all a big help, and fingers crossed will see more effects with more use.

After 2 weeks of use, the velcro doesn't close.. Rubbish

Arrived quickly and VERY comfortable. Fair price on this site as when researched, they were ULTRA expensive everywhere else. BUT they are SO much more comfortable and worth the extra £sss
