Thumbs Up UK Black Camera Lens Cup

I saw this and decided to get it for a good friend who is a professional photographer. My only concern was that for all I knew he already had 20 of these. But when it came, I almost fell over - this mug has all the detail you could ask for and looks really convincing. When my friends and I presented him with it, he was absolutely delighted. He had seen a few advertised, but he didn't want to buy anything that had every potential to look cheap. His reaction was, "This looks really good!" We get to see him use this every day, so it's a pleasure to see he does enjoy it.This is a great gift I would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone who loves a camera.

I just got this adorable lens mug/cup in the mail. Even though the advertisement said the measurements for this item, I was rather disappointed in it's size. It holds exactly 2 cups of liquid. It seems really fragile and made with cheap plastic. The pictures are really decieving. Over all, it's cute, and will at least be a conversation starter.

Wonderful novelty item for morning coffee, tea, etc.Added advantage is that the "lens cap/sunshade" can be used to close the top (in order to keep the contents warm, or cold, and/or unspilled, but can also serve as a cookie holder. - Wouldn't have occurred to me.

I love the mug. It's good quality material and looks authentic. There's even a nice rubber grip that is actually a rubber grip and not fake at all. I fooled a friend with this when he thought for sure I was going to ruin a $350 lens by putting it in the microwave. :) But there is a flaw that should be fixed. The very nice top DOES NOT ATTACH. Yep, it just sits there on top and can come off any time. In fact, it's rather loose. There is only a small plastic ring that fits down into the cup that does not screw on, nor does it have a rubber pressure fitting that makes it stay. It's just there, easy to knock off.But I still think it was worth the money because of the other features.

It's what you would expect for the price. I love how the lid can hold cookies, and the detail isn't too bad. Wouldn't recommend for travel. More like at home or in the work space. The lid doesn't have a seal tight hold. Just helps keep the drink warm.I'd recommend for a great novelty gift that any photographer enthusiast will love.

Not the highest quality cup. Design is cool, but one of the main pieces of it was peeling off before i even opened it. I pushed it back down, but it stays for about an hour, each time I go to use the cup again it's unpeeled again. Couldn't find any way to contact Amazon about this item so this review will have to do. Spend a few more dollars and you could probably get a higher quality one.

This cup is an apt gift for anyone who has an interest in photography. I bought it for my father, who is an experienced and avid photographer, and it was very well received. He was impressed with the detail and likeness of the cup to the lens of which it is a replica. By pleasant coincidence, he happened to own the exact lens this cup is a mimic of.I can't speak to the effectiveness of this cup as a beverage holding device, because the one I purchased is being used to hold pencils and the like, but it certainly fulfills its role as a novelty very well.

The mug did not come with any of the described traits-It was very small, the lining was terrible, there was no zoom as described, the lid does not twist on or open up- Just sits there- and was not a camera lens cap or had any attempt of looking like a camera lens cap as described. The detail was inaccurate. Would not recommend.

Amazing gift! Bought this for my dads birthday and he loved it! My dad is into cameras and photography so this was a great gift. Offers a very realistic camera lens look while still having a great sized mug as well as good heat protection. Great product!
