These are really nice to hold your metal, wood, & any other type of chopsticks. Easy to handle & clean. Being wood, they aren't fragile like porcelain, stone, or clay chopstick holders. I know because I broke the other type of holder by setting it down a little too hard. So, I welcome this type of material :)My photo includes a pair of my own chopsticks.
