Just what I needed
I've been hemming and hawing about getting a photo light box for some time. This one does the job. It's stable. Assembly and disassembly are easy enough. It does fit in the nice little carry case that comes with it. (It's a little tight, though.)It took me way too long to figure out how the lights worked, but I think that one's one me. A previous review mentioned that this heats up, so I was careful with the power. It didn't seem to me to heat up unreasonably, but the lights and the power cord do need to be treated like lights and a power cord. Otherwise it was fine.

Good Photo Light Box
I'm happy with this overall, but wish a few things were different. No assembly instructions were provided. Called company and about 1 week later, they called back and emailed me the assembly instructionsThe listing says 4 LED lights but it the photos say only 2. Mine came with 2 LED light strips.Lights are bright and are "attached" to the top by magnets.Light switch has on/off/dimmer but it does not work very well. Wish it came with a different style or a new one as mine doesn't work that great. The 3 colored back drops are nice but don't know if I'll ever use the cream colored one.Love the top and side openings. I'm able to take much better photos now and the items I've sold have already paid for this.

Works as described
Good product. It gets the job done. the only thing I don't like is you can see the reflection of the lights off of any glass object you are trying to take a picture of.

Don’t waste your money. More Chinese junk.
Was difficult to assemble. No directions. Couldn’t get it to turn on.

Not suitable for small, silver jewelry items with lots of detail
I felt like Cinderella while trying to use this product. The light was either two bright or too dim. Too dim for evening and too bright for daylight. But you may say- the lights are adjustable. Sort of. It has “steps” rather than a smooth dimming like most light switches these days. And the dimmer switch was hard to use. I had to get my thumb nail in to move it. The main defect is that it has only two light panels. With only two, you get shadows. I got tired of moving them around as suggested. Top, bottom, sides, combo of these all had a shadow problem. And the lights are not easy to move. The cords get in the way of one of the magnets. Time is money so i gave up on trying to make this work. I returned it and bought a more conventional fabric light tent and two external lights. That type of setup takes more space but it has worked for me in the past. You need to dim the light? Just move it further away. Want dramatic shadow on one side? Turn off one of the lights. Simple. No need to edit the photos with this technique (who has time for that?) This light box may work for other product types. But with jewelry, one needs to be in control of shadow to really show stamped and chased details in the metal and to suppress any glare.

No directions
The item was delivered and appears to be wonderful. However, there was no manual included. I can figure it out, I'm sure. That being said, I don't dare to try to assemble it without proper Instruction. I've contacted Amazon and the company and am still waiting for a response.
