Consistently great flagpoles!
I have several of these flagpoles and they've always performed as expected. They are easy to set up and the flags never bunch up because of the wind. They look great and their durability is excellent.

This is NOT your Big Box store flag pole!
This flag pole highly exceeds my expectations. It does not clip together in the middle, it is a threaded connection. The top half of the pole has an inner and outer shaft, so the whole shaft rotates, keeping the flag from tangling. The top clip rotates with the shaft and also independently. I imagine this will allow the flag even more freedom without worries of tangling. The bottom clip screws down tight to the rotating outer portion of the pole. It can also be moved up and down the shaft as needed for different sized flags. A truly magnificent design. I ordered a 3x5 flag to go with it. It could hold a flag a little bigger, maybe by 2 inches or so max.I was looking at the flag poles in a couple of big box stores. I just couldn't bring myself to buy them, they just looked to cheaply made. I also went around the neighbor hood and ruled out using any kind of wooden pole. In the south, the heat and humidity causes all of them to warp. Granted the big box store brands were actually cheaper in price by a few bucks.Overall I am super excited and happy with my decision to buy this flag pole!Updated:10/27/15 I feel really bad, as it turns out the Flag Pole is not made in america. It is made in china. I previously had it in my review that they are indeed american made. I try to buy american made products as often as possible. It is actually what helped me chose this product. The way these poles are advertised in the packages makes them appear that they are american made along with the flags, without actually saying it. There was also a question in the Q&A section asking if it was american made. The only answer then was a yes. Now, more people have chimed in and it is clearly not an american made product. I do not know why Grace Alley has decided to plaster American made all over their advertising of flags but sell a China made pole. Granted, the pole is outstanding. We have had some pretty rough weather in the south this year and so far the pole doesn't show any signs of wear or damage. My american made flag in fact has already started to fray slightly but the pole is as solid as ever.So overall, still a 5 star product and sorry for the misleading information.*Note: I do have a picture attached and no the flag is not touching the bushes, just looks that way.

I ended up reading pretty much every review on all spinning flag pole items ...
I ended up reading pretty much every review on all spinning flag pole items available on Amazon. Let me just save you the time, indecisiveness, and confusion that I wasted and say...just get this pole. :-b It seemed like each item had its flaws, and it was driving me batty trying to decide on "the perfect one". I came to the conclusion that they're all mostly the same, just different brands/manufacturers. If you're looking for a spinning flag pole that functions as it claims, looks nice, doesn't rust, and is as sturdy as you can get in a metal wall flag pole, this is the right choice. There's only so much you can protect an outside flag pole from. There isn't one that's going to be 100% indestructible by the climate, so don't end up like me and frustrate yourself trying to find one that is. ;)My last pole (and bracket) was one of those "flag kits" you can get at the popular, local hardware store... and it lasted maybe 24 hours on a windy day. So, I have that to compare to, and this flag pole is faaaaar sturdier, thicker, and nicer. And sure, it may cost more than some "full kits", but most quality items do cost more, right? :)The pole was packaged very nicely and neatly, and arrived as scheduled. It's very simple to put together. There are clips for your flag - and I was worried it would make noise and bother my neighbors and I'd have to replace them with something softer, but it's really not audible to me at all.Haven't had a storm in the area since this flag pole was put up, so I'll update this review after one of our "fun" storms. :)If you're looking for a high quality and tough bracket for this pole (it doesn't come with a bracket), this is what I got - and am very pleased with it so far. Mine was installed on a brick/stone exterior, and yes it takes time and effort to drill the holes for it when you're doing it on brick, but it seems like this bracket should stay put through a lot of nasty weather. I might be able to swing off of it, it's so sturdy. ;) We got special screws for it though (TapCon), and didn't use what it came with, since we had to drill through brick. The TapCon screws allow you to not have to use plastic anchors when you're needing something solid for brick/stone/concrete.https://www.amazon.com/Weather-Resistant-Displays-Aluminum-Flags/dp/B00KMUYWLQ/ref=sr_1_4?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1500482311&sr=1-4&keywords=Heavy+Duty+Flag+HolderEdited to add: We had a storm last night with wind gusts between 40-60mph - and the flag pole stood up to it all like a champ!
