Nice upgrade to my boat. Simple to install if you already have a 12v socket. Just unscrew it, swap the wires, screw in the new one, and you're done. My boat didn't have a voltage gauge so I really like how it shows voltage. I just hope it holds up under wet conditions.

So far it works great. I have a 12v socket in my boat, but wanted direct USB so that I don’t need an adapter. Simple to wire up, red to hot, black to ground. Hole diameter is 1 1/8” (1.125”). I used a 1 1/8" hole saw to mount it in my boat console. The console box was made with a layer of 1/2” starboard with a layer of 1/4” over that. Only way to drill that thick is with a hole saw. Install was simple, just tighten the nut on the back. Very clean looking unit.

I did a mod to my car. It's not a new car so I was able to get away with what I did. I put a solar panel on the hood and I hooked it up to this USB adapter on the inside of my inner console. A battery is also integrated into this circuit mess. I can overly charge my cell phone with a battery now integrated into my car, and it charges solely on solar electricity. It was a great project to prove my worth, and I like having the installment made. The USB adapter works just fine with my masterpiece.

Sturdy build with great look and function. Have not checked accuracy as of yet. Installation is easy and terminals are well marked.

I have replaced a number of cigarette lights in my cars with these 12v USB Charger units. They work great for charging phones (Android and iPhone) and the included volt meter lets you keep an eye on battery condition and verify the car's alternator is working. For some reason they have made them a slightly larger diameter than the cigarette lighters (at least those fitted to my Land Rovers) so the holes have to be made slightly larger but this does mean you can ensure a good fit. I highly recommend these for a simple way to a volt meter and add USB charging ports to older cars.

Just put this in my Range Rover and it looks nice. Really like the voltage read out. It is definitely larger than OEM so you will likely have to enlarge the opening. Could’ve plug it straight into to stock wires but opted to add the supplied wires with an extra fuse. Only had it in for a day but so far it is charging nicely with no issues. Oh, I did ditch the ugly rubber cover.

Bought this a year ago. Finally had the down time to take the center console of my Challenger apart. Replaced the 12V aux plug with this for more current times functionality.Ease of install is dependent upon your skill level to know how to take your car apart. Once I got the aux plug removed I hand to Dremmel about 0.15 inches of the plastic on my center console to allow this to fit. Was easy to hook up. Crimped wire fittings and then F4 tape wrapped it all up. Turned on the car and works like a charm.The inline fuse is a great bonus.

Replaced a lighter port in my Cruze that I had a double USB plugged into. It never worked right to supply power to 2 plugged in devices. That’s when I saw this beauty. I utilized existing wiring and had to minimally adjust the size of the opening so it would fit. Installation took maybe 30-45 minutes but it’s been very worth it. I did however cut off the cover right off the rip. Literally I’ll never need it. Always something plugged in 🤷‍♂️

Fairly easy to install as long as you have decent access from the back in order to install and tighten the locking nut, and an appropriate size drill bit/hole saw to punch the required hole for installation. Comes with fused wiring as well as terminals. The display for voltage seems to be reasonably accurate and is just the right brightness, not too dim for the daytime but not blinding at night.

This was fairly easy to install in my Jeep. I did have to bore out the existing hole in the dash a bit more, as this is not a stock size. To install, I simply cut the pigtail off of the old connection and used the supplied wires to hook up the outlet. It looks great and I love that I have something that tells me my battery voltage.

Added this USB socket to a gold cart. How handy it is to charge a phone, plug in portable speakers. Very good quality socket. Highly recommended.

This is hooked up to a trolling motor command center. Fancy name for a battery box. Charges my phone and battery bank faster that my home charger. Reads prety accurately being compared to the solar pannel volt meeter hooked to the same battery. This is perfect for my application and I will not hesitate to get another just like this when I build a bigger and better Trolling Motor Command Center.

The charger works well (charge my tablet & phones) & the display is a bonus. But do NOT trust the wiring diagram from the product description page. The positive & negative are REVERSED from what is printed on the charger; if you look for it. Took me a few test then to realize I should have just looked harder at the charger rather than follow the "instructions" per the description page.
