Heritage Products Heritage 6-1/2-Inch Spring Loaded Rag Quilting Snips

I am making a rag quilt out of denim and plaid shirts. These snips cut through 8 layers without any effort at all. The spring works well and the handles are easy to hold. I have carpal tunnel and was able to use these a while before I started to experience numbness. These are definitely expensive for a pair of snips but are worth every single penny. I will never use another brand.

I own 4 or 5 of these wonderful tools and gifted my brother and sister-in-law each a pair so they won't have to share. They said they are sharp and wonderful to use, I heartily agree!

I was afraid they were a little heavy, I’m used to fiskars.But they more than make up in power, they cut easily through 6 layers.

Absolutely the best scissors for rag quilting.

I wasn't sure if Ii could use these for snipping a rag quilt as I have a problem with my wrist. They work beautifully and are easy on the hand and wrist. Love these!

These cut easily through thick quilting layers, but they are stiff to use.
