More script and less stage directions and less complicated set needed
I'm going to perform this version of Frankenstein since I couldn't get the rights to the Nick Dear one. The only problems with this play are the stage directions and set descriptions which are so elaborate and suggest a film version not a stage production , the play is less than 60 pages which leaves room for lots of business. There isn't much deep and meaningful discussion on the meaning of life between the doctor and the creature ( which lets the story down) but with good actors I'm hoping it can be conveyed non-verbally

I am well pleased with this purchase
I wanted my very own script of Frankenstein in order to prepare for auditions. I am well pleased with this purchase.

Very true to the flavor of Shelley's novel
I found this to be an excellent play. It was obviously well researched and very true to the flavor of the original novel. This is not Hollywood's version of Frankenstein but a much more full bodied study of man's arrogance. I highly recommend performing it as well as reading it.
