Or worse, you are simply leaving the reading glasses on
After 40 the letters on aspirin bottles suddenly got a lot smaller. Enter the world of reading glasses. The problem with most reading glasses is that 1) they are typically not safety glasses and 2) reading glasses. So if you are working on something that involves power tools and measuring tapes, you find that you are flipping glasses on and off for close work. You are also flipping them off to put on safety glasses when cutting or drilling. Or worse, you are simply leaving the reading glasses on.You are also dropping those reading glasses (propped up on your head) off ladders, over deck rails and into paint buckets as you bend down to work on something. I break more pairs of reading glasses building things then I do for all other activities combined. Then you get a pair of the Safety Bi-Focals. You can leave them on when doing distance work or walking around without getting disoriented and when you look down to read a tape measure, package directions, or to follow a cutting line, you can actually see what you are doing. No more pushing them onto your head, or putting them down on a table (where they sit as you climb a latter with your tape measure in hand) or dropping them into your work. Most importantly, when the miter saw powers up they are protecting your eyes like a good pair of safety glasses should.

Bifocal lens too small
As far as quality they were pretty good the problem I have is the bifocal lens itself is too small it's okay if you're looking down at something but you got to lift your head up way too high to look at something that's higher than your waist because the bifocal lens is just too small so you walk around with your head up in the air kind of looks ridiculous doesn't feel too good either maybe you should think about doing half the lens bifocal and the other just safety glass lens that's what I would do

Great idea.
For the first time, I can read something without taking off my sunglasses and putting on readers.1- The magnification section is positioned well so it doesn't interfere with walking or distance vision.2- Just lower your eyes, not your head, and you can see your watch, etc.3- Really nice colors out in the sunshine.4- Nice look.5- Secure fit that doesn't come off during exercise.Issues:1- in deep shade, it can be hard to see things close up, especially when first coming in from direct sunlight.2- No adjustment. They either fit comfortably, or they don't.

Great for Hiking and Biking!
I bought these because I wanted a clear-lensed pair of glasses to wear when hiking in colder weather. I'm in my 40s and cannot read a map or small text without a pair of "cheaters." I had a great pair of clear-lensed lightweight glasses back when I used to mountain bike that protected my eyes and kept them from watering when riding in colder weather. These glasses have more than filled in for my old (non-readers) pair. They're rugged but not overly bulky. They're relatively stylish and look fine on the trail. The reader lens section is a reasonable size where it doesn't get in the way when you're walking or riding, but it's there for you when you need to check your biking computer or read a map (it's right in your handlebar field-of-view). They're great w/r to one of my pet peeves - the earpieces DO NOT touch the lens (and hence don't scratch the lens) when folded: +1.The only real negative I can come up with on these glasses (for hiking/biking) is that they're fairly rigid and don't fold up very flat. This is a result of their original design; as safety glasses, and so I really can't fault them for this, and I'm actually happy having a tougher rather than a super-light pair of glasses as they provide significantly better eye protection against branches and the like than my old pair when I'm biking and hiking. Just note that if you buy these and plan to store them in a case, you'll need to buy a larger case to fit them into.I highly recommend them for hiking/biking/trail use.-Pete

Nighttime driving
In warm weather, I drive a Jeep with the top down. I was looking for something to keep my long hair out of my eyes during night driving (bifocal sunglasses during the day). I also need cheaters for reading menus, etc. These bifocal glasses solve both problems -- keep my hair at bay and I don't have to carry 2 pairs of glasses. I've had them only a short time without an drops, so not sure how scratch proof they'll be.

It's so nice to not need to fit over reading glasses or switch out when I'm working!
I have needed reading glasses for close work since I was a teenager, and I've always had to buy big, boxy goggles to fit over my cheaters, switch out and pray nothing flew past my little reading glasses, or grope about blindly on detail work. Not any more! These safety glasses are surprisingly comfortable and lightweight, the nose pieces don't slide, pinch, or dig, and the ear pieces are nice and flexible so, no big headaches. And yet the lenses (both the main and the 2.0x inserts) seem flawless, so when I'm in the shop, I can see clearly every detail of my work, without a strange dance to avoid rearranging the particulate matter which lands on my face. And they're not much more expensive than a pair of plain, everyday, dollar-store safety goggles. I bought these along with a pair of amber sun-filtering bifocal safety glasses, and now I can see what the heck I'm doing repair projects in dark indoor corners, and out in the Great Wide Sunshine. What's more, I don't look like a complete dork while doing so, any more.

Won't buy again
You get too much glare and distortion from this type of lens using bifocals. The reading part is often located wrong on your face to use. The glasses get scratches, fog, and otherwise distort your peripheral vision too often. I had to buy another pair of glass almost instantly, using my almost two-year-old pair of black framed glasses until they finally broke in between the time it took me to get the new ones to replace these.

Quality for the price.
As my eyes get weaker with age, I find it frustrating using my reading glasses when working on projects. Not really safe either. These safety glasses fit the bill by providing me improved visibility and safety at the same time. They are so comfortable and functional I often find I am still wearing them around long after leaving my work site. Good product.

Great safety glasses at a fair price.
Works fine for me. Don't have to bring my reading glasses when I do work around the house... reading and safety glasses all in one!

No son cafés
Me llegaron unos color obscuro, no son cafés como los de la foto, el aumento y diseño muy bien. La calificación es porque no es ese color, lo demás muy bien.

Title doesn't say bifocals, neither does description
The discription doesn't say bifocals ...I just needed regular safety glasses, I can't wear these, you have to scroll way down before you see any mention of bifocal, you should change the title and description
