So much better than plastic molds!
I was a little skeptical about how well silicone would create smooth, attractive chocolates, and I was more than impressed with the results! The silicone is smooth, not matte, so it creates perfectly smooth chocolates. I only have one suggestion regarding use: put the molds on a tray or baking sheet and tap, tap, tap! (several times!) to remove air bubbles. If you try to tap the molds without a tray, you will make a huge mess as these molds are extremely flexible. I switched to these molds because the cheap plastic ones sold at JoAnn's are too small for filled chocolates, and they cracked during the first use. I can tell that these are extremely high quality and will last for many years! I will buy more of these! They are worth the extra cost.

Very Nice
I have this and several other molds by the same company. I have used them to mold chocolate and caramel for dipping. Both confections came out beautiful and shiny. The hearts are really pretty. Make sure you beat the molds against your work bench/counter top before letting the fillings set so that all or most of the air bubbles come out. You will totally enjoy these, especially when you give the finished product to the one(s) you love. The look on their face(s) when you tell them you made them yourself is priceless. Also, these are silicone not polycarbonate. While they are flexible, they are really sturdy. Enjoy!

This is my very first mold.
I made milk choco and white choco hearts with cocoa nibs. It was so much fun to make and my hubby loved it.I used my metal bowls as a double boiler and poured it straight from off of the pot. I did wipe all of the condensation before pouring, and I used a heat-resistant spatula to slowly push the chocolates into a small stream for pouring (and gathering what is stuck to the bowl). My metal bowl had a 'sharper' edge for easy pouring. I would suggest not pouring all the way to the surface so the bottom edges will not have to be trimmed.I put the mold with the melted chocos onto a small metal rack and tapped it to get all of the bubbles out. Went into the freezer for 8 minutes to harden quickly.I slowly pulled on the sides of the mold to give the surface space before popping out. The hearts come out so shiny once the chocos are firm to remove. They become less shiny when they rub against the other chocos when storing. The mold itself is flexible but thick enough that it will end up staying turned inside out until you push them back. Easy to wash with hot water, but I tend to "wash" it for a few minutes to make sure all of the chocos melted off. I found that it dries fairly quickly. Usually with plastic, the water takes forever to dry. I keep it in a ziploc to keep it free from dust.If you're making a bunch, it might be best to buy more than one mold. I bought one because I was planning to only make it for my hubby, and being my first time working with molds. I ended up waiting in between until the one set firmed, until I finished using all of the melted chocos.Very fun to make, and the chocolates did not stick to the insides of the mold at all.

Silikomart Silicone Chocolate Heart Mold
This mold is fantastic for home-made chocolates. I haven't used it for anything else so I can't say how well it works with other materials. The mold is of good quality and makes it very easy to get the chocolates out. The mold was a little deep for making solid chocolates, but this may be a positive feature if you're making filled chocolates.

Love it and what a bargain.
Works better than I ever imaginied. Have used over and over for multiple candies and treats and it works great every time. Performs just as good as the expensive ones at a fraction of the cost. I am a believer and would not hesitate to buy more of them.. One of my all time favorite purchases,. It is a breeze to clean and I have not had one problem with any use. It is a great little product for such a bargain. Love it.

Only one minor complaint...
I purchased these molds to make filled chocolates. They came out easily and beautifully - so glossy and professional looking (I'm no professional at all - I just like to make stuff like this as gifts and for parties). My only little complaint is that I wish they weren't brown. The way I made the chocolates was to paint the molds with chocolate which I then chilled a bit. After that, I filled them and topped with more melted chocolate and put them in for a final chill. When they were done, I simply turned the molds inside out, pressing out my candies - lovely! That said, if the molds had been a different color, I would have more easily known whether I had full coverage when I painted them.

Strong smell of chemicals in this mold
The chemical smell in this mold is super strong. Even after washing it multiple times. I tried using and the candy came out tasting like chemicals. My kids wouldn’t even touch the candy.
