Beautiful on a Plate, Very Useful, and Very Reasonably Priced
These are fantastic quality from BIA Cordon Bleu (which is a South San Francisco company that has been around since the early-1950s, and that is tied in with Deshouliere in France and does the distribution for brands like Apilco and Pillivuyt here in the U.S. (in fact sometimes you'll see distinctive vintage pieces from those brands with a BIA Cordon Bleu mark underneath, and sometimes their decoration, and sometimes it will say "decorated by hand in S. San Francisco."Rather than make cheap knockoffs of other products like those of Apilco with questionable materials in China, BIA Cordon Bleu does produce its stuff in China but they are based in South San Francisco and have been a reputable company producing quality merchandise for decades. (They are not associated with the famed cooking school in France.) Do pieces from HIC (Harold Imports Company) do the same? I don't know.As for the Oslo shape I bought it in the 6 ounce and 12 ounce sizes, and it's infinitely useful. In the 6 ounce size I make things like pot de creme, and I use the 12 ounce size in place of those silly mini cocottes from Le Creuset, Staub, and so on. (They are a little larger than those, by one-third, and can actually hold a single serving nicely, and they make a nice presentation.) If you need a cover just use aluminum foil or lay a flat cookie sheet over the tops on a baking sheet all at once. Same usefulness, prettier and less silly presentation, and more stylish at table. The Oslo shape is infinitely useful and stylish. I highly recommend them.

So darn cute-Ordered 3 Ounce Cups
These are the cutest darn 3 oz cups. I ordered this to use as a pinch bowls for seasonings when I'm cooking but they also coming in handy when pairing it with a dish as a dipping sauce bowl like pico de gallo, sour cream for someone's potatoes, barbecue sauce, etc.The only, only, only reason it got 4 stars with me is because they're light and I feel like if not too, too careful when handling, they will break. Hey, for the price, just order more and store some extras away. Other than the weight, this would've gotten 5 stars for sure. Perfect size!Update -I ordered 2 more sets and I feel like they were a little more sturdier than the 1st set...I don't know, they seem different but in a good way. Love these things....so freaking cute! If it had cheeks, I'd pinch them!

Great ramekins with so many uses
I'm back to purchase another set of these ramekins - I purchased the first set in late summer. I knew that I would enjoy them (they are the perfect size for a snack or a smallish serving), but I didn't imagine that my family would reach for these as often as I do. The steeper sides make them handy to carry to the family room without making a mess. They clean up well, and the glaze is quite smooth. It's always a treat to buy something for one purpose (souffles and custards) that do double and triple-duty.

Molten lava cakes coming right up.
Perfect for my intended use. I needed this shape and finally found these. They are for chocolate molten lava cakes and I’m sure many other yummy things will happen later.

Spot on Value for Money Paid
Good size and weight, sleek design, and the right balance for the price paid.

made in china
All four arrived with big stickers on their unglazed bottoms stating they were made in China. Price seems a bit high for stuff made in China. Nevertheless, they are heavier than similar items available in box stores.

Ordered twice, damaged twice
I bought these ramekins so I could make individual servings of egg dishes and cobblers. The size is perfect. The quality, however, is not. In the first set I ordered, 2 of the 4 ramekins were chipped. The box in which they were shipped was undamaged and since they were each wrapped in bubble wrap and the chipped pieces were nowhere in the box, it would seem that these items were chipped before they were even shipped. I returned them and asked for a replacement set. The replacement set arrived within two days but unfortunately, 1 of the 4 ramekins was chipped. Again, the box was undamaged and the missing chips are not inside the box. I have returned this set for a refund.

Cheaply made, skip these
The first set arrived chipped and one had such a rough bottom the set wasn't usable. Of course Amazon stood by the product, but still I would advise moving "up" to a more expensive product. You may save money, but you're not getting much with this product.
