It's an excellent thriller, that will keep you on the edges of your seat!!!YOU CAN'T MISS JAMES MARSTERS' IN HIS UNDERWEAR FOR MOST OF THE MOVIE!!!! Shadow Puppets is the best movie I have seen in a long time. I GIVE IT 5 STARS OUT OF 5. IT IS A MUST SEE MOVIE!!!Shadow Puppets is about a group of strangers who wake up in a locked asylum with no idea of who who they are or how they got there.They are all in their underwear,cold and scared.They are being killed of by a Shadow creature, and need to find a way out of the asylum. As the movie goes on, you will will see that not all is what it seems, that someone has been lying. But I won't say who? You will have to watch the movie to find out!!!

It started with me wondering "what is happening here", and I asked myself that throughout the entire movie. Everytime something was explained another quandry developed, it was a a very enjoyable thriller with infinate plot twists, and even after the final fade I waited for a final twist. Probally the most enjoyable film I have seen in a long time primarily due to Jolene Blalock, she is a stunning lady, and her entire wardrobe for the film couldn't have cost more than $10.00 at WalMart. OH!!!! by the way the lady really can act. Why wasn't she given the lead in the billing ?? She carried the movie. Five Stars to her.........

This movie starts out pretty well is has suspense,mystery and a pretty well written script. Are cast find themselves waking up in a asylum where they have no memory of who they are and why they are there. Only to be pick off by a creature who has no shape or form. It is nothing more than a shadow that stalks them. Having no memory they have to find a way out and why they are there before it is to late. They soon discover there are eight of them trap in this place but one of them is not who they say they are. This begins mystery to discover who they are and what it is that is hunting them. The movie is pretty good it has very good acting a good plot and some suspense. It also has some mild violence with some good turns it. Don't expect a movie that will knock you off your feet but one that is above average that does keep your attention from begging to end. I say check it out I bought the DVD and have no real complaints its a good solid movie so check this one out.

Amid a plethora of hints and clues, this movie still manages to keep some of it's secrets until near the end. Light on the gore, but high on suspense. The acting was mostly good. James Marsters did a wonderfully believable job, drawing us in with his customary uncluttered style. Jolene Blalock tried too hard and seemed a bit out of step with the whole feel of the movie. All in all, a very satisfying bit of sdary creepiness.

This is a combination psychological and horror film. Its creepy locale and the mystery surrounding all of the characters make for a gripping adventure. I enjoyed watching my favorite genre actors show how well each one could envelop the audience in each unfolding event. James Marsters has just the right amount of innocence to set the action in place and Jolene Blalock is outstanding in her leadership. This is a must have for S/F fans.

James Marsters is the reason I purchased this movie. He is a really good actor, but this movie is not worthy of his talents. Nevertheless, he did very well with the material he was given. The plot was mildly entertaining; the writing and sets could be better. BUT, if you want to see James in his underwear, this is the one for you.

Other than the two leading actors James Marsters and Tony Todd this movie is lame a horrid at best.In fact the only reason I still own it or bought in the first place was for these two actors being in it.

I'm really not certain who would be particularly satisfied with this film. Some of the "fright" moments might have played well in the theater but they're not particularly scary. While the film is set up as a horror-mystery (with an intriguing premise) it doesn't deliver. There are huge logic gaps in the story once it unfolds which makes the sometimes slow pace of the film have no payoff in the end.There are some good performances here but the material is weak. There are some good ideas but they aren't well executed.

Saw the film before, was as expected

I thought this was a wonderful movie, even though i am a little bit biased because i love everything about james marsters, but it was well done and very interesting to watch. I did however get a little bit confused in the middle about who was actually who, but i guess that was the point :P

The film was atmospheric but the disc was damaged so could not watch the whole film

Ich habe die DVD zwar wie angekündigt erhalten, allerdings war die DVD-Hülle (Plastk) beschädigt. Die DVD selbst war OK. Leider funktioniert aber, obwohl als "Sprache" deutsch und englisch angegeben ist, die deutsche Sprache nicht. Man kann den Film also nur englisch-sprachig mit deutschen Untertiteln anschauen. Sehr schade, denn der Film selbst ist ein wirklich gut gemachter Horrorfilm mit einem super Hauptdarsteller (James Marsters/Spike), allerdings ist man bei der Handlung darauf angewiesen, wirklich jedes Wort zu verstehen - Untertitel reichen da einfach nicht.
