Works where the black simple rubber flap does not. Buy this one, it costs a little more but works great.

Perfect Replacement for my RV Sink Vents
Perfect replacement for my old, original vent. Screwed on easily and no leaks. Took care of the smell issue in my RV. I placed one under my bathroom sink, and one under my kitchen sink. Works well.

Smells like PVC should.
It is what it says. It fit perfectly. I'm so happy it makes my ears buzz. The top is about 3" in diameter unlike most others. It may not fit in some applications.
