Great little models
These are great little ships, so much so that Iโm tempted to buy another set! They are small enough to display anywhere, surprisingly accurate for such a tiny size and easy to put together. Some flashing needs to be trimmed and some of the inserts need to be trimmed down to fit in the holes but the ease of assembly is impressive; the carrier and sub took maybe 5 mins together while the others took a bit longer. Iโd say the sun is by far the easiest and most accurate, with the carrier and cargo ship being right after it. The others are a bit harder/less exact. But for about $2 a ship? Not bad at all, highly recommend

Very good but not great
These are very good little models that require very little work to assemble. I think there's a very good amount of detail, the size is good, the selection is mostly good. (Why is a WWII ship famous for blowing up and sinking after taking one hit packaged with a bunch of modern ships? I think a troop transport like a Wasp-class would have been better to round out the selection.) "Precise craftsmanship allows them to be installed without any glue" is not in the least accurate. There is some flashing on a number of pieces that needs to be cut off, some rough spots need to be sanded, several holes are too small and need to be widened or pegs need to be filed down to make them narrower (especially on the Type 054A, which did not have a single piece I did not have to modify to put it together). Super glue is needed to make some of the pieces stay together. And these models come with only the vaguest of microscopic diagrams that can be called "directions". Again, this is especially true on the Type 054A, which comes with a plethora of absolutely microscopic pieces that I can't tell apart, don't fit in the holes, and look like little dots on the "directions". Although I haven't tried it, I highly doubt these would float like in 2 of the pictures. Also, the manufacturer's recommended age is from "14 - 120 years!" I doubt there are people that old on the planet, but if there were I don't think they'd have keen enough vision to see these microscopic parts, or the manual dexterity to manipulate them. And for those curious, the Aegis Combat System is not a ship, it's a weapons system that's integrated into several ships. The ship presented here is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer. I think these are good, but they could be better.

Durable plastic
Great item. Comes in a nice bag, every ship individually bagged and all pieces included. To the absolute purists, some modding is necessary, some sprue remains need to be filed off, some putty to fill in areas but overall great product!! Just cut pieces off and attach, no glue necessary! Most importantly, pieces are plastic!! i.e., durable!! I am not the nimblest of fingers, so what u need to do with tiny pieces i would've broken if they were resin, but being plastic, they last!!

Not what I expected
Small pieces and I thought they were Legos and they aren't.

10/10 recommended
Good for any age depending on if the tiny pieces are added. Obviously they are a choking hazard and a lot them require some careful force/strength to get in place without shaving down using a knife. They are basically complete ships with just the top and bottom piece. The main top and bottom piece do need some force to push all the way together as well. All but a couple pieces stay in place without glue. No knife was required to separate the tiny pieces. Separating the tiny pieces was the only part that took some time. Good variety of ships and adequate detail considering the price when bought.

Detail and accuracy.
I purchased these miniature models for table top naval wargaming. They are easy to build and well detailed. All can be built as waterline models by removing the posts that are used to snap the underwater hulls to the upper structure of the ship. The only model that you can't do this with is the Chinese Carrier which is molded in one piece. I would recommend model cement to complete these to insure the various small parts stay on the finished model and don't get lost.

Not for big fingers.
Less a puzzle and more of a snap together mini model set. Some parts needed trimming and some parts could of snapped togther better. Most parts were small enough that I needed forcepts to assemble.

Ships click but the ship weaponry/accessories are poorly designed.
While each ships base and top connect to each other well enough. The accessories that are meant to be attached are poorly designed. This can include cannons on ships, where they will fall out easily or antennas and similiar which just fall out. For my son he didn't mind and just imagined the hole where a cannon was meant to be was a missile/rocket or flare. But it does show that the quality of each piece is not as good as it could be.
