Hockey Morning Noon and Night

Got this for my nephew who is turning eight & he LOVES hockey.It was easy to read. They did put black words instead of white lettering on dark colored pages but it is still readable. I personally loved the real hockey photos through out the book. It was also nice how she add a girl to the hockey scene with the way genders are wanting equal time.

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson and he loved it. Cute story and great graphics I highly recommend it.

This book is list by Amazon as good for ages 8 and up. I bought it for my 9 year old son and was disappointed after opening it. It is way too easy of a read for kids aged 8 and above and is definitely mistakenly categorized as such. I woud say its more for kindergarden through 2nd grade. Lots of pictures and very few words.

What a great book Doretta! Very cute and very relatable! We have three boys and it was nice to see that our crazy hockey life in Minnesota also brings such warm memories through the years for families. Loved all the cut out collahe style photos; just a unique touch. My 7yr old brought it to 'share a book' day at school!
