Unheard of movie that i really enjoyed. Early 2000s vibe which is when i was in my 20s so i liked it. If you like that and magic in your mix, you’ll like this.

Great movie I have watched this movie view time's free off of free movie apps.I recommend this movie for those who love entertainment great plot Colt movies just are an escape for me when I'm dealing with my own demon and gives me a atmosphere how to over come EVIL with good. In an fairytale Outlook ESCAPE for a moment from my true reality.

I absolutely love this movie

Its a good movie with a cool new take on the mystical side of things. Decent graffics for the time, good storyline even though slightly rushed. Fairly good acting alot of actors when they were young before they became bigger names in the business. It always stuck with me when I first watched thats why I added it to my collection, but this is a good watch and a good buy if the price is under 10 bucks.

Another one my now adult daughter has to have and we bother enjoy this . I believe she told me about this one before I could tell her lol. Loved it thanks for all the hard work to the cast and crew and ext

I'm retired in my 70's and have an M.A. in History and i have visited Salem and Ipswich, settings in the movie. I watch some movies like this JUST FOR FUN! It got me into researching the Witch Trials in Salem. Warlock Caleb makes a nice character hero, but the villain warlock Chase played by actor Sabastian Stan -- contrary to what some critics might think -- steals the show (movie). He transitions well between playing a nice guy and playing a convincing villain; his eye movement (an unusual consideration) is brilliant, and I read that he did some of the action stunt scenes in the movie himself! That is thespian dedication indeed! Anyway, it is a fun 92 minute primarily teeny-bopper movie!

ich bin ganz zufällig auf das cover im internet gekommen und habe mich dann informiert um was für einen film es sich handelt.habe mir dann den trailer angesehen, der recht gut aussah, da ich ein großer fan von harry potter und twilight bin habe ich ihn mir dann angeschaut. habe aber nicht mehr als eine nette abendunterhaltung erwartet.zur story:Caleb, Reid, Tyler und Pogue sind Studenten an der Eliteschule Spencer Academy und erleben eine normale Jugend mit Schulstress, Parties und der Ersten Liebe. Tatsächlich aber sind sie die Nachkommen der Siedler von Ipswich und verfügen über dieselben besonderen Kräfte wie schon ihre Vorfahren. Sie sind schneller und stärker als ihre Altersgenossen und können zudem Gegenstände mit der reinen Kraft der Gedanken bewegen. Verbunden durch ihre gemeinsame Herkunft, sind die vier Jungs unzertrennlich. Doch als einer ihrer Mitschüler nach einer Party tot aufgefunden wird, beginnen sie, sich gegenseitig zu verdächtigen. Nach und nach kommen die Geheimnisse, die sich um den mysteriösen Pakt ranken, ans Licht. Was seit Jahrhunderten die Familien der vier Jungs beschützt hat, scheint ihnen nun zum Verhängnis zu werden.die schauspieler sind sehr gut, allen vorran, die hauptrollen steven strait und laura ramsey.die schauspieler sind noch recht jung, aber machen ihren job sehr gut und sind sehr sympatisch. die story ist unterhaltsam und spannend erzählt und die spezial effekt sind große klasse.jeder charakter hat seinen ganz perönlichen charm, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat, so kann sich jeder mit irgendeinen von den charaktern identifizieren.der film fängt erst ganz locker an und wird dann immer düsterer und spannender, das ende passt sehr gut zu dem film und ist sehr gut geworden, auch was die effekte angeht.habe nicht viel von dem film erwartet wurde aber sehr gut unterhalten.für alle die filme wie harry potter oder twilight mögen ist der pakt eine schöne enddeckung.auch zum mehr mals schauen.ich kann diesen film nur empfehlen.

I can't understand why people complain about the "depth" of the story when this film was obviously designed to be a bit of fun. I would suggest they try Shakespeare - but they'd probably pick fault with the plot holes in Macbeth, Henry V, etc.It makes a nice change for us females to have a fluffy action film with five attractive male leads to drool over, rather then the usual nubile young females struting around in their bra and panties or flashing the flesh for no apparent reason.Yes, the script is a little on the lightweight side but so are the Hammer Horror Dracula, Frankenstein and Mummy scripts. As for any plot holes, due to theatrical time constraints there are bound to be bits that have been left on the cutting room floor. I, personally, would like to have seen a full edition of this film with the extra footage included on the dvd release.The extras are poor but they are the same as the American version so I can't really complain (what am I saying of course I can complain - were are the outtakes, the cast commentaries, and the other items which usually come as standard?)I'll be honest with you - I like this film, I like it a lot, and I'm not going to apologise for that. It is one of the few films that I can put on my computer and watch while I do my work, or put in the dvd player and watch with family, including my mother. It's nice to have a film that isn't dependent on foul language and nudity to try and keep your attention because it has little or no story.I read the reviews of this film and though I'd make up my own mind - I would suggest that you do the same.Possible spoilers be here - The Coventant involves our five handsome leads, and a couple of nubile girlfriends thrown in for the male viewers. Four of these boys have been raised together "like brothers", the other should have been part of the group but it was believed that his bloodline had died out during the Salem Witch hunts. When the boys turned 13 the received limited "witchcraft" abilities and the knowledge that using these abilities are addictive and each use will shorten their lives - something which no-one explained to the fifth boy until it was too late and he was an addict. At the age of 18 they will gain their full powers, Caleb is due to assend to his full power when the film starts and what follows are the discovery of Chase's true identity, the reasons for the fifth boys appearance at the private school and the build up to the final battle.I don't go for "chick flicks" all that romance, I much prefer action - like I said - this is my kind of chick flick. Some good looking male totty with added action, and limited slushy bits. Nice :)

Great film i bought for my mum as she liked it when i bought it and she could no longer watch it lol. about a group of boys who ahve magic in there bloodline and keep a pact amongst themsleves then the new boy in town with his innocent face and gd surface manners soon starts causing trouble. it turns out he is also one of the boys who has magic in his bloodline but his family was wanting domination so they were shunned and he wants to get his revenge. ends with a big battle between the new boy and the eldest of "brothers". to find out the result buy the film lol
