The box set contains the first three films of the franchise and it's great value for money. What's not to like? Johnny Depp is wonderfully OTT as Captain Sparrow and the supporting cast gets better with every new film as it seems to become popular among A-listers to appear alongside Depp and Winslet in the films. Great family entertainment for a wet weekend. Definitely worth adding your DVD collection.

Having seen the first Pirates of The Carribean - The Curse of the Black Pearl, at the cinema, I was excited at the prospect of seeing all three in Blu ray DVD on my new panasonic home cinema theatre system. I was not disappointed! What a great adventure, the picture was pin sharp although the sound was poor but that was due to the fact I do not have an Amplifier to boost the blu ray signal - still, a little tweek & it was blasting out all 5 speakers. The second film, Dead Man's Chest , was again, full of gripping action - that is until the picture pixellated & froze. I immediately sent a Refund into Amazon ,who, without hesitation, sent out a new box set whilst I returned the faulty one. - the second dvd was faultless. The final film, World's End, I felt was a bit over elaborate & didn't watch all of it (hence the 4 /5 stars). An excellent box set full of action & thanks to Amazon, well worth the money. If you like a good story line & swash-buckling pirate action (no swearing), buy it now.

3 roled into 1 box, nice value for the hollywood block busters with a twist each time, not to mention all star-casts and a riot of action packed comic twist and horror edge, You'll know the plot I'm sure (and any basic Pirate formula would cover the basics pretty well), so to this package in particular:1- Some Space saving, it's 3x slim-case size.2- 1-2-3 films (not 4) complete.3- English (Dolby) only, but No3 has subtitles in all the scandinavian tongues, hindi and dutch too.4- 443 minutes of film: Not bad for the price!5- Disney rewards points included, if you can get them to register (don't use an aol email to register them, don't know why, but AOL and Disney seem not to be compatible somehow!)6- No extras

Bought as I only had them on DVD (remember those) and I was errr transferring my collection of blu-rays to plex.

Well what can one say about the three films apart from they are fantastic.......all of them. Funny and light hearted, just what you need after a hard day and want to relax.My poor husband fell asleep through the first one ( HE ALWAYS DOES, NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FILM) and woke up just after the start of the second one. He could not quite make out what had changed. In saying that he watched the rest and really enjoyed it.We wont tell him about the change of film,we are getting on in years after all. RegardsTricia

I honestly don't know how to sell you this, but here goes. These movies are incredible, if you like pirates, these are the movies for you, if you like action, same thing, and if you like Johnny Depp, well, well, well, then look no further, this is easily his most memorable character to date.

My daughter is mad into the Pirates of the Caribbean. She had the first film on DVD but wanted the others. Got this as part of her birthday present. She's delighted and loves the films.I personally haven't seen the other two but she says they are amazing and very funny. She is 9The DVD's arrived on time and in good condition. Would have no problem ordering again from this supplier.It's a pity though that everything isn't free delivery. Because I am in N.Ireland I get around 2 pounds added to the delivery cost. This is something I am used to by now and not specific to this supplier or the Amazon website in particular.

This box set contains all 3 pirates of the carribean films. They are very fun, very exciting films which the whole family can enjoy. While scary in places for very young children anyone over around 10 would love this set of films. Johnny Depp is a great actor and while the first film is the best in my opinion, the other two do not fall too far short and all three are amazing films.worth a buy, good price and great viewing.
