Horse Diaries #6: Yatimah

My 5 year old reads above average and asked me to purchase these books she currently on book 9 after receiving them the beginning of December.She loves to read and she reads everything, Its problem borrowing books from the library she always wants to keep them, I find myself purchasing books every few weeks.The stories are wonderful and she enjoys all the characters, the setting of the story and the images.She just enjoy the series I purchased the frist book during the summer and she asked me to purchase the series for the holiday when shes off from schoolThank you Horse Diaries

The book doesn't have to many words on the pages. The font is a good size. The book doesn't look too difficult and reader may finish book quickly. It is a good series for kids who love horses. There are several books in this series.

My 10 year old great niece loves anything 'horse' including these books. I was just like her at that age. You learn a little about the lifestyles of different peoples in different historical eras in every book. I read every one before passing it on to my girlie. The characters are interesting and I appreciate the beautiful illustrations. This one is about arabian horses and bedouins in the 9th century a.d.

My daughter loves this series of books! She is crazy about horses and particularly likes the fact that these books are told from the horse's perspective! It is sometimes very difficult getting kids to read - I have found books that utilize animals as characters are very engaging for young readers. My daughter also loves that each book has a different author because she feels it gives the reader more variety with the characters especially since each story is told by a horse. Happy reading!

It was an amazing book it was touching and when the raids happened my heart was pounding it kept me on my toes with excitement it’s just an amazing book

[review by 11 year old daughter] This has a different culture than the other books, yet surprisingly nice! I love (like the other books) the fact that it is told, well, straight from the horse's mouth! Recommended as long as you understand that it is a different culture.

My daughter was 8 when she first read this book. She LOVES this book. I think she has read it 3 or 4 times... She just never tires of it. We've bought several more of the books in this series and she loves them all, but this is her favorite!

Great story of an arabian mare, i love these books to learn to read more in English. Illustrations are beautiful but in b&w. Very good choice for children and teens that loves horses .

This was supposed to be a gift from Santa expected delivery by December 18. It's December 23 and hasn't been delivered. Not happy.
