Fits 4 inch threaded plastic pipe
I had a 4-inch plastic threaded pipe about 3/4 inch in dia. The description said 1/2 ips. I guess that refers to the inside pipe size. I was worried about it fitting, but it screwed right on and works great. I'm buying another for a spare. $6.90 is a really nice price too.

Looks great and exceptional value
Pretty simple to recommend this without hesitation. Less than half the cost of the delta spout and works perfectly. Appeared to have the same quality build as the oe/delta spout I replaced. The issue was the diverter which I did attempt to replace the washer twice and both times it still failed to perform properly. I suggest you bypass the $5 washer and pay a few more dollars for the complete spout. Super easy to install. Simply unscrew the old one, add a little Teflon tape to the threads and screw on the new one. I was actually surprised that it didnt leak and worked perfectly without any drips. I will certainly look for this brand when I need plumbing parts in the future. It is pretty standard and an easy choice. You either need the type that "snaps" on or this type that screws on. The way to tell is that with the snap on style you will find a small hex type set screw UNDER the spout. If its not there simply screw off the spout. No need to turn off the water supply. A 10 minute job max.

Does not come with the plastic part that threads onto diverter spout!
Took old diverter off then took the threaded plastic off of it! Then threaded it onto new diverter! Works great!

Great Product
I needed a new one to replace mine but didn’t want to spend $20+. You can not beat this price point. Install is easy, you only need 4” of pipe sticking out. If you have the fancy trim piece then you’ll need 4.5” of pipe sticking out. Only thing I did was add a drain hole for the bottom side. This will drain any water if your threads leak, otherwise the water will run into the wall. Chrome finish seems good, have not had any issues with using it for a few weeks

Cracked Threads Caused Major Damage
Looks OK, screwed onto my existing nylon threaded stub just fine. But 2 showers later water was leaking from the kitchen ceiling. Pulled the spout off and could see a that the threaded area near the diverter was cracked. Maybe I over tightened it during installation, but I only hand tightened it and I didn't use a lot of force. Wouldn't you think that the nylon threads would given out before brass would crack? Now I have a major drywall repair project. Not happy.BTW, I risked a quick trip to Home Depot and bought a $13 Danco spout. Works perfectly.

Built kinda cheap
Diverter is plastic and lets a little water get past to the tub when you have it selected for the shower.

Cost effective and easy to install
I loved that it blended it with the rest of the set I already had on there.

Solid, good looking
The item is hollow inside, you can install it on your copper pipe of your bath and screw it until it touch the wall. I would recommand to use a teflon tape on your pipe and some silicon to seal the wall and the faucet. My bathroom is 30years old and the lenght was standard and perfect.Took me 2 minutes to install it.If you're looking for a slip and slide faucet, it's not this one.
