Where Is Mount Rushmore?

I love Mount Rushmore!!!! However I was disappointed with the first chapter of this book. It was very heavy in evolution and mentioned millions of years more than once. I felt the first couple of chapters were to much about the history of the Native Americans and not about Mount Rushomre. I realize the Native Americans do play a vital role in South Dakota's history, but since this book is suppose to be about Mount Rushmore I felt there should have been less background and the book definitely could have been writen with out evolution and millions of years.

This book tells you great information about Mount Rushmore. Great read for children who are going to visit Mount Rushmore also.

Purchased for my granddaughter who is a new elementary teacher. She loves it!

Makes history interesting.

These books are great. Informative for non-fiction and perfect readability level from my elementary school child. We love these books.
