Forget the 2000W name this LED light is in fact less than 100W
First let me say its solid made with an array of widely spaced very small LEDsWhat about the 2000W ?Well there's the catch you probably read that like me, thinking it would be rated 2000W, or like the Led replacement lamps in stores equivalent to 2000W lamp brightnessHeres the real truth the lamp draws 0.5A at 250V that is an input power of 125W the power factor is 0.9 so that means the effective power is 125x0.9 = 112WNow the likelyhood is the power supply and the fans will eat into the 112 watts probably more than 10% but lets say thats a conservative figure then we are now down to 100 Watts available to produce light for the plantsThats why you need the light to be as close as 5" above the plants just to get any usable light on themThe claimed 1.6/1.5 per watt is better than a CFL (compact fluorescent) which might be only 0.7 per watt although this LED lamp is 20% more expensive and has fans running constantly which the Compact Fluorescent won't haveI did contemplate just returning it but I'm going to keep it and do some side by side testing against a £58 CFL setup and see which does bestIn fairness to the manufacturer they do publish these figure for light PPFD which most of the competition don'tLight PPFD (μmol/ m²/s ) (stage: h=mounting height A=canopy coverage ): 320 μmol/m²/s (Vegetative: h=16in A=4X3.8ft) 500 μmol /m²/s (Flower: h=13in A=2.2X2ft)recommend Light Mounting Height: 5-12in above canopyIf these are true they do justify the extra money over a small CFL lamp setupI haven't got the necessary equipment to check μmol/ m²/s claims so if anyone does I would be interested to knowI feel the manufacturer of all these inexpensive LED lights are all inclined to imply they are very powerful generating high light levels and intimating ratings in the KW range when in fact they are fairly feeble outputs of less than 100WDon't take my word for it there is ample information online to make your own judgementI have tried to make this review useful rather than short like "wow it looks really bright - 5 stars" which you might think have less weight now

not good for flowering
very easy to set up, reasonble quiet operation, great for vegative growth period. not good for flowering period, results during flowering were very very poor. power consuption is 200 watts, but resulting flower yeild is that of a 70 watt bulb.vegative period produces nice steady growth, so as a veg light its worth the money.

Produces Lots of Light and Heat
Initially put of by fake reviews I took a punt as the price was reasonable, growing lemon grass, cacti & Aloe Vera requires a lot of light, this light system is fan cooled but still gets very hot, that’s a price I’m willing to put up with.To mitigate the heat the plants require plenty of watering and a fan.The result is I’ve had one disaster followed by success. The light spectrum is perfect and the plants have grown quickly. All in all I’m happy.

very good
been using for 3 weeks the difference between 1 side which is my old 1000w to this on the other side, the growth difference is remarkable.cant say much on longevity but sturdy, and looks good compared to my old. will order another 2 at the end of the month now my test is complete. easily worth every penny, temp seems atleast similar to lower powered 1000w. cant really find any fault.

This light is pretty amazing. The plants have responded well and on top of that what an excellent price. There was a mix up with my order that was sorted promptly. Its that good all round I've got two. When I need any more lamps this will be the lamp and the place to buy.
