The rhinestone hair sticks are beautiful and sturdy. I have long thick hair and one is strong enough to support my hair in a bun.

These hair sticks are gorgeous. I wore them out to dinner the first night I got them, and received several compliments. These hair adornments are not flimsy plastic. I'm not 100% sure of their durability, but they are definitely more sturdy than a cheap, plastic set of hair sticks. They feel weighty in your hand, and you feel much less likely to break them when you're inserting them into an updo. The rhinestone/crystals look stunning in evening light and in direct sunlight. The only thing I would caution you on is the length of the sticks. These hair sticks measure about 6". If you're hair is very long, you may have trouble working with them. Because of their weight, these sticks might prove to be too heavy to stay in fine hair without some kind of added support. I've yet to see how well the crystals are attached, so I cannot say how long they will last before they fall off. At some point it seems they all do. Some crystals appear to be missing, but upon close inspection, they are there, but very dark in color and recessed a little more into the sticks. The tips of these hair sticks seem to be the weak link. The gold paint rubbed off on the very tips after about two uses. Not that big a deal when you consider that your hair conceals that portion of the sticks anyway. Happy I have them in my accessory kit!

Soo pretty I was worried that they would break or stones with fall off but they're very sturdy I'm pretty sure they're metal and they're beautiful and not a single piece has come chipped or come off. I do not wear them everyday just wanted to make that clear because I do not know if they will hold up for somebody to looking to wear them every single day

Love these; I have them in two colors. They do bend fairly easily, but have held up to being worn several times a week for several months. My hair is waist length, so the weight of it may cause more bending than it may for others. Bright, pretty. Jewels have stayed in place.

These chopstick hairpins are curly hair's BFF. They have a nice weight to them so they feel solid but not heavy when worn. The shaft is textured which helps with hair hold. The rhinestones are multi colored pastel colors and the shaft is gold tone.Love, Love, Love.
