Tamiya - 74093 - Model Kit Accessory - Cutting Pliers

I've used two other side cutters( nippers) yet, once again, Tamiya's side cutter is simply the best. They'd cut spues so smoothly and effortlessly.

Best hobby investment I ever made. Night and day compared to my old nippers. Cut parts out of the same runner with the old and new nippers to test it out. My old ones felt like they were cutting through much harder plastic. These new Tamiya nippers also cut very flush and without much stress in the plastic (disclaimer: some plastics are worse than others when trimming.) I reiterate though toss those $5 things you bought and invest in this. Totally worth it.

Good for using with models to cut trees and dimples. Could have better/more comfortable grips, but does the job nicely.

This is my first set of legitimate sprue cutters but I have to say I wish I had purchased the Tamiya cutter years ago. In the past, I removed parts from sprues with either a knife or small scissors. Both tools did remove the parts but too many times they also launched smaller parts into the part eating carpet where they were never seen again. I like the Tamiya cutter because the cutting edge is angled flat on one side which allows for a clean, snapless cut that often leaves the part clean of any residual plastic requiring clean-up. I count this among my essential modeling tools.

These nippers are a great tool and an excellent value. I've used an Xacto knife to remove parts from sprues. These nippers are a far superior method.

Had one of these for 2 years and used it heavily for daily model building. Over 100 Gunpla later and it only just then began to show signs of wear, so I bought a backup just in case. Well worth the money, a great gift for any modeler, both serious and casual.

Wish I had brought these years ago,much better than normal side cutters. Parts are removed from sprues with minimal clean up required. Highly recommended.

Tamiya es sinónimo de calidad y éste producto cumple. Es sobre todo preciso y además muy cómodo. Ahora bien, ya advierte en el mismo cortador que únicamente sirve para cortar plástico. Si se quiere utilizar con metal hay que irse a la gama superior, muchísimo más cara. Es por este motivo que solo le doy tres estrellas relación calidad precio.
