My 9 yr. old granddaughter asked me to buy this jewelry bead kit for Christmas. Her eyes lit up when she received it. It is well made and exactly what is advertised. The sturdy case that stores all of the beads, etc. really makes using it and storing it a great experience! Would buy again.

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter who was turning 11. She loves designing jewelry and bracelets for her friends and family. It came as pictured and I loved that it was organized by trays so it's easy for clean up and storage.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this. If you're looking for a cheap little gift then yes it takes care of that. The trays slide right off. They have a backside where they don't slip off but every time we carry the case from one surface to another, you end up juggling the case so that your trays dont fall out. Great concept and starter set but designed cheaply. The most challenging part is storing trays back and moving it to its destination.

This beading kit is perfect for the growing fingers of a child who having adjusted to the last growing spurt can become totally frustrated and reluctant to continue to use there hands and fingers eye coordination imagination by the awkward uncordinated miscalculated spacial distance that plague a child . Some never get over the emotional traumas when this happens in front of other children/people.
