Good starter, solenoid poor.
Upon installation I started the tractor, deutz 6206 and it started up like a charm, much better than the old starter did. However the solenoid after a few days began to fail to energize the engine starter. This was proven by connecting across the terminals temporarily, and it worked as it should. It starts the engine easily. I can parallel a solenoid across the terminals, but I shouldn't have to do that.
