Avant-Garde Black Frosted Glass Chess Set with Mirror Board

Not sure why this isn't a 4 1/2 to 5 star amazon product. It's a beautiful set, and the company is very good about making sure each peice and board are all packaged up very well and break proof for shipping. I know some people on here have complained about getting a broken peice but the company must of realized better packaging is essential because mine took over 5 minutes just to get to any of the set with all the protective film on it! Clean, scratch free and looks amazing on any wood or glass end Table. Highly recommend.

The chess pieces themselves are very durable. The bottom of the felt on the pieces may be the only issue. One piece was dented because the felt wasn’t thick enough. Other than that, everything was great!

the chess board that i ordered arrived in great shape... the pieces was all intact, and the board itself looks great... the playing pieces that i did take out and look at look fine, there was a few little bitty chips here and there, but nothing major, no fear of getting cut... i bought this as a christmas gift for someone and i have no fear of giving it to them, they will love it

I love the size of it not small and not exaggerated the clean mirror finish plus she frosted glass on the board peice really speaks to me the play pieces are heavy enough to know it took care to build great for the price I purchased for id expect to spend more for such a wonderful looking element

Super cool. However I wish it came with a long term case for it. Knight came broken. Hope they send a replacement part. No option to contact seller.

Some pieces came slightly chipped which is a shame

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and it’s a beautiful glass set. I don’t even want to put it away because I like it out as a decor in my living room.

I bought this a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it! I have no idea how to play chest but looking at this set definitely makes me want to learn how!

Llegaron algunas piezas rotas

Very upset with the quality of the product. For the product and shipping I paid $110aud and I received something different to what I thought I ordered. The black pieces are painted and the paint was chipping off. The board itself is okay but not the best. Really disappointed with spending all this money for my boyfriends present and not getting what I expected.

Très bonne qualité. Il y avait seulement un petit défaut dans le verre du Roi des blanc, mais sinon les pièces et le jeu A1. Le seul point négatif est que les morceaux de tissus qui vont en dessous des pièces est très légèrement trop petit. Quand tu bouge une pièce, il arrive parfois que le verre de la pièce touche à la planche du jeu, ce qui fait un son désagréable. Je le recommande. Merci LM

Corner of the glass chessboard has been chipped during transport to destination. Haven't had a chance to talk to anyone about a replacement as the cost to return will be more than just sending a new one. Otherwise happy with the product description and product. Need to organise a replacement.
