Second Balisong ive bought from Andux
This is the second balisong ive bought from this company and i must say im impressed of overall performance. I bought the orange version over 8 months ago and its still going strong after excessive use and abuse. I just bought a second one in black and im even more impressed, it now comes with replacement bearings and screws for knife. Performance - Ive been flipping balisongs for a while now and and this is an excellent knife for the price. There is play in the handles but nothing that isnt manageable. The flipping action is smooth but takes a while to break in, it will come a little stiff but after some flipping will loosen up and perform well. Hardware - The hardware is subpar, but that is to be expected at this price, DO NOT USE the allen wrench that is provided you will strip your screws and never be able to work on this knife again. All screws will need to be removed and Loctite will need to be applied, or you will have screws fall out on sooner than later. Build Quality - Overall very good, the G10 scales can take a beating and still look sharp, ive dropped this on concrete numerous times and it still performs as well as before. My opinion- There is only one other knife that competes with this and its the Squiddy from Squid Industries, it flips better and carries its weight better for rollovers and Chaplins. However, it is plastic and you have to decide if you want this as a toy or something where your training for a live blade, the weight difference is definitely felt when switching between the two. I highly recommend this knife!

Good , get tools
This is a good beginner balisong but the parts will losen up pretty quick , specially if you drop it a lot ( which you will when starting) get the proper tools to deal woth it , the ones that the trainer comes with are crap and will mess up the screws and tear them up

Great
Great for beginners, and possibly one of the best trainers for the money. You're definitely going to have to sand the g10 with around 1500 grit sand paper because it's kinda sharp and uncomfortable out of the box. Everything kinda loosens up after a day or two so you're gonna have to soak it in loctite as well. But after those things it flips great, the pivots are smooth and sturdy with almost no tap or play when tuned. The g10 is surprisingly durable as well. I've been flipping it nonstop for about a month, and I dropped it a lot but theres almost no scuffs so it still looks and flips like new. It's a fantastic first knife and I would definitely recommend it to any new flippers wanting to get in to the hobby, and even experienced flippers looking for a good cheap trainer. The only downside to this knife is that it is technically a clone, so you might get a little judgment from die hard flippers, and you're not really supposed to post about it on some social media groups. But a lot of people let it slide cuz its very different from the original and just good overall.

What replacement screws
Did not come with replacement screws as advertised. Lost 1 handle screw within hours, but I have nothing to replace it with

Great construction, great for price.
I've had alot of Balis in my lifetime. Much experience with these knives, trust my opinion. I was looking for something for my wife has recently become more intrested and I wanted her to have a nice one aswell as not get cut. I didnt want to get her one that will break as soon as it drops or unscrew after a few tricks. This trainer truly impressed me for the price I paid for it. The hardware washers has bearings in them which I've only seen in the $300 plus balis. Very light and easy to flip, very sturdy and great construction. I also found a fingerprint on it which proved to me that this was hand crafted and not heavily manufactured on a line. The smallest inconvenience was one of the screws was the right size for the alan wrench it just might have been tightened too much because the teeth did not hold in the wrench and turned without resistance to unscrew. Also all screws were sealed with loctite and I like it when I dont have to do it myself. Very satisfied, 7 out of 5 stars. Will probably buy 2 more, for neice and nephew or just for myself.

The pinching used to bug me so much!
I've already moved off of this trainer to a squiddy b but it was very beginner friendly. Now some of the problems with this trainer were the constant pinching of my skin during y2ks and zen rollovers another thing is it came out of the packaging with one screw stripped im not sure if it was just mine but it was stripped.Overall great product for beginners but it suppressed my creative freedom with it and even made me stop doing zen rollovers.

Good place to start as a "flipper"
I saw a balisong flipping video on YouTube and thought it looked fun. This trainer was 26 dollars when I bought it. There were far cheaper models on here but this one seemed to be more well made. It has bearings which some of the super cheap ones don't have. It has a nice little velcro pouch to put it in. It also came with spare parts and a little tool for tightening screws. It flips pretty smooth, in my opinion, but this is my first balisong, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Like others have mentioned, you WILL need loctite!! I was tightening up the main screws that hold the blade LITERALLY after every 10 flips. I finally got fed up and bought some loctite. It's curing right now, so I don't know if it worked. I like to fidget with stuff, be it pens, guitar picks, coins, etc. So I find this to be a very fun and relaxing thing to play with while I'm watching football for example. But it may annoy others or make them nervous that you're going to lose control of the balisong and hit them or destroy your TV. It's not super noisy buy it may annoy others. As a complete beginner, sometimes I lose track of which is the safe handle and which is the bite. So I might put a little paint or nail polish on the "cutting edge" just to make it easier for me. I might sand the handles just a bit as well. They aren't super rough but they could be smoother. I removed the latch because it seemed very in the way for certain tricks. If you don't have loctite, I advise you to check your screws often and tighten them so you don't lose one. It's easier to tighten a screw than it is to find it in the couch or off the carpet. I recommend this balisong trainer as a good starting point. I will probably want a nicer, more expensive one down the road. I might like to have a sharp one to carry, but not for tricks. I've dropped this thing so many times and even if I hadn't cut myself, my couch would have multiple stab holes. EDIT: I messed up the loctite. I put WAY too much. It wouldn't flip at all because the bearings got bound up with loctite. I had a hard time getting it back apart but I finally managed. I appreciate the spare parts that Andux supplied. I redid it and I think it's going to be right this time. Apply a tiny bit of blue loctite to the threads with a toothpick. Don't try to pour loctite into the screw holes. This may be obvious to some but this was my first time using loctite. I bought a couple more bali trainers that are significantly heavier than this one and I prefer this one. It's easier for a beginner like me to handle. I got a Nabalis with the "multi tool" style blade and the Balishark. Both are extremely well made but they just feel way too heavy for me.

Perfect tensions right out of the box.
It comes tight and after playing with it for a bit the feel is on point. Only things to note are the handles are kinda short but that’s just me and my big hands. It’s got a nice sound when you flip it plus it’s easy to catch. I can say that the handles counter weight is a lil weird and they didn't send a tool to remove it but i could buy the screw driver and remove it myself which isn’t a big problem. Hande’s comfy and is super good quality. It rarely pinches and has no unwanted play right out of the box. I suggest you don’t take out the screws and hust use it as is

Great!
Tons of fun! So far very well built. I would recommend taking it apart and giving it a clean + some fresh oil, but for the price, great fit and finish.

Great flipper.
Came a week early and is enjoyable to flip. Lightweight and good quality. Tolerances are good out of the box but definitely recommend loctiting Zen pins and pivots. Definitely recommend.

It’s pretty good!!!
So far after 2 months of VERY hard use this thing has held up great!! The reason for a 4 star is the size is non generic making it hard to get used to coming from squid products. Overall I think that if you are starting out and want something cheap that works great then I’d go for this!! Oh yeah and it has very smooth ball bearing pivots making it have 0 play and tap. Cheers

Great for new flippers.
Fantastic balisong at a great price. Probably the best you can get in this price range. I highly recommend especially for new flippers.
