Pool test strip at a great price
I have been buying test strips like this from specialty pool stores for the last 4-5 years. I never understood why they are so expensive. I am glad I found these pool test strips for half the price! In addition to the good reviews this was an easy purchase. I usually go through about two bottles a summer. Great value and it tests for everything I need to keep my pool water balanced.

Horribly inaccurate
Most of the measurements are a couple “boxes” skewed either high or low so the results aren’t usable. On top of that, the label “Free Chlorine/Bromine” is either completely useless or is actually measuring Combined Chlorine - when Free Chlorine is high, the Free Chlorine is always low which I know isn’t the case.

Accurate spa test strips
A very unusual packaging concept but a very smart idea. Enclosing each set of ten strips in a sealed aluminum pouch to keep them from deterioration. Have not seen this in any other test strip produced. Checked accuracy against other test strips and wet chemical analysis, found these strips to be very accurate.

Works as expected
With summer approaching, I needed a refill on pool test strips. There are plenty of them and they work well. Great price for this 2 pack!

Waste of money!!
Absolutely awful. The colors didn’t match the chart on several of the elements, and when we had our water tested professionally, the ones that were readable were totally inaccurate. Returning for a refund. Do not buy these!!

Stopped working entirely after 6 months
I left these test strips outside next to my hot tub, which was probably a mistake. It doesn't specify how to store them on the bottle, so I figured this would be fine. First, the results guide on the outside of the jar faded unrecognizably, to the point where my test strips were still producing results, but I had nothing to compare them to (thus rendering them useless). Second, after 6-7 months, the strips themselves started producing results that were inconsistent with the guide. For example, one square was supposed to turn anywhere from blue-purple, and would turn green. I know this because I was comparing them to a screen shot from this listing.I still have 2 full jars, but am about to buy more test strips on Amazon because these utterly failed to do what they were supposed to do.

Inaccurate
Like others have said the test pads bleed their colors immediately after getting wet which is not great but ultimately these strips have inaccurate pads. Total Chlorine pads seem to react to chlorine but the measurement scale is 0-25-50- etc which isn't helpful at all (nor as pictured, reading 0-1-3-5 etc ppm). The Free Chlorine pads seem to change color (perhaps as the water bleeds away from the pad?) and so I can't get an accurate reading. pH, Total Alkalinity and Total Hardness seem to read accurately (or at least they read what my previous brand of test strips read). CYA is absolutely useless - it reads 100ppm whether I test my pool water or tap water (this can't possibly be; not only was my CYA reading much much lower than that with my previous test strips, but tap water shouldn't be reading any CYA at all to the best of my knowledge). If all I needed was to test my TA, TH and pH then these strips would appear to be just fine, but ultimately I need to read CYA, FC and TC as well to keep my pool in balance.

Don’t measure bromine as advertised
Bought these as they were shown to measure bromine as well as chlorine per the description. They do not measure bromine. Was a big disappointment. But if you don’t use bromine, then they may be ok for you. Also they came in small foil packs within the jar so you have to open the foil packs and empty them into the jar. Kinda nice as you don’t contaminate a bunch at once, kinda a pain.
