Simplicity at its best!!
I needed to repair and replace the exhaust doughnut ring from the CAT back to muffler pipe on my 1999 Ford Ranger. The flange on the muffler pipe side had rust worn itself free from the flange bump stops. So I looked for the parts from my local auto parts store, but in order to replace it with the same parts cutting and welding is involved. So I came upon this simple yet brilliant universal flange. I read some reviews and I like what I read. The most important thing you have to know is the outer dimensions for the pipe you have. With a little bit of grinding the bolts and worn out flange off, I was finished in 5 minutes. The grinding took around 15 minutes, so in 20 minutes I was done. They fit perfectly, and they come apart like handcuffs for ease of installation. I highly recommend these flanges, but again, outside pipe dimensions are the most important thing to know to do the quick and easy.

Fixed my exhaust quickly and for a very low cost. Great product!
These worked great on my Ford Ranger. A couple of these and an exhaust gasket fixed my incredibly noisy exhaust. It only took about 10 minutes to do the repair. I had to cut away the old flange.I did order a smaller split flange because my front end pipe was smaller, however I would advise against using two different sizes. When I tried to install two different sizes the holes did not line up and I had some difficulty taking it back apart. Luckily I ordered three just to make sure I could get the job done without any hangups (two in this size and one 1 3/4" -2"). I also used a couple of springs from my local hardware store.

I would order 1/4 inch bigger in size than what you think you actuelly need. Also, add lock washers.
I like the product, but i either measured wrong or ordered wrong but i had to order another set of these 1/4 bigger than the 1st set. Still, i am very satisfied with the product. I used them on my Dodge Ram and i dont have any complaints. I would recommend adding some lock washers.

On 04 santa fe works well
My exhaust broke @ the rear flange, so I needed to hold the 2 pieces together, there are better ways, there are cheaper ways but I wanted something in the middle, good fix, good price..I also picked up some exhaust sealer.I put some sealer in the middle of the flange & then used 2 of these to pull and hold the pipes together, worked great...the only issue was being under the car & with little room to move they are a little hard to fiddle with...Put a little grease on both ends & attach a bolt in one end, kinda if like a crabs claw..

Very happy.
My wife's Honda needed a cat outlet round gasket. The Honda setup is fairly well designed so that one needs to buy an entire cat just to have a proper gasket seal at the outlet side. The split flanges solved the problem for hundreds less than a cat. Very happy.

Y-pipe relacement flange to exhaust manifold
This is a brilliant idea fits fine tightens up real strong. The only improvement could be slightly longer bolts.Smart product.

Fit, and did the job, and came with stainless hardware.
Did the job i needed it too and it actually came with stainless bolts instead of the pictured black oxide, which makes me happy. Under the car in the midwest and i'm skier, so.. stainless is a real plus. Yeah i know the split flange will rust, but at least i won't have to cut bolts off.

Size indication too vague
Although it looks like a strong enough piece of hardware. It should work provided you're using it on the proper sized pipe.In the product description it indicates that it fits "2-21/2" pipe. I have a 2" pipe and it was way too big. I had to return it.
