This is a standard UK fitting boot and not a wide fit.

yes 12 month of fair wear and tear, but will last for ages, great quality, very comfortable

Q: Are the eyelets metal, if so will they corrode in a beach / sea water environment?

Yes the eyelets are metal but mine show no signs of rust, so they should be alright for your use.
