Using in Thorogood Boots? Check Out My Review
To prefix this review, I am a 31 year old, 220lb dude, with moderate to high arches, using these in some moc toe style, EE sized (Extra wide toe box is what EE stands for), Thorogood Boots. Most of my time working 8+hours on concrete in a warehouse. Why such expensive boots don’t come with inserts like this amaze me. And let me tell you, these make a huge difference. My joints were hurting. Knees, hips, and then my back started to hurt. My feet always ached as the symptoms progressed up my body. As someone who spent my ch of my youth as a semi pro powerlifter, I know the human body. The body is a chain. You have a problem at your feet? It will only get worse and will domino effect up through your body unless you start some form of physical therapy and treat the root of the problem. In many cases, it starts at your feet.So I swapped my inserts out with these (having owned a pair of timberland boots before, I knew from experience they were the most comfortable boot I ever wore and what actually converted me to wearing boots in the first place). I figured I’d give them a try after doing research on what people recommended and dang I’m glad I followed through on these.I expected some kind of break in period, nope. These got the trial by fire 12 hour shifts on my first week in them. No break in needed. These worked great after cutting them to the size of the boot (used my old insert as a stencil to cut these). It was easy to do and I noticed an immediate difference. No more back pain, knee pain, or foot pain. It was always an ache at the end of the day. Now the ache doesn’t exist. These worked wonders for me. I will exclusively be buying these inserts for life as long as the quality of these soles does not degenerate. Good work Timberland, my feet thank you.

Great for my chronic fatigue and pain issues
So, I'm a fairly sedentary person. Up until recently, I spent the last 7-8 years working from home while laying in my bed and basically rotting in bed for most of the day on my phone or watching TV. I ordered delivery food so I can eat in bed, etc. Chalk it up to severe depression. The exception to this is when I go to live music performances. And boy does being sedentary suck in these cases: my lower back is usually extremely painful by the time I've been standing for three sets during a concert. You can imagine, then, my anxiety around going to a music festival where I would be standing for 12 hours straight. Especially in my Doc Martens, where the included insoles wore out years ago and I'm basically standing on a hard surface with flat feet/collapsed arches. Ouch! After doing some research, I found that these inserts came highly recommended as one of the best anti-fatigue inserts on the market -- so I ordered a pair. Now, granted, I haven't really tried any other inserts before, so I can't tell how they hold up to the competition (I'll update this review if I ever do!). But what I can say is, these get the job done!I stood for a good 8-9 hours straight at Cruel World 2023, only needing a break near the end. For the first time in my adult life after standing that long, I didn't once think about being in any kind of pain. It was a game-changer.I ended up replacing them maybe 7 months later after I noticed they weren't quite as comfortable as they once were -- and now a year and a half later I'm here to buy another pair for Cruel World 2025. (This time, I have better boots too, and I'm a bit more physically active than I was two years ago.) I know they'll get the job done just like before. All this to say, if you're prone to pain and fatigue from standing like I am, look no further for relief. If they can protect someone as fragile from self-neglect as I've been these last several years, they will probably work for you too.Lastly, I did want to note that I don't really know how long these truly last. Even though I wore my first pair for 7 months, it's not like they'd have gotten me through a 12 hour music festival 6 months in, you know? So don't take that as a testament to their longevity. Rather, if you need relief right away, get these and put them in when you need them -- and then have a backup pair ready to go when they wear out, whether it's in 1 month or 7.

Thicker but not original
They are full replacement soles for Timberland boots, the bottoms actually look exactly the same as the previous insoles I had. They are definitely thicker, and I feel a lot more padding against the ground, however, I can say the old ones seemed to have better quality construction. There was leather at the bottom of the original insoles where these are just fabric, also not a fan of how the new ones seem to make my feet even warmer.. the tims did that just fine already. These will work for now but I hope they bring back the originals.

These are really the best and i dont do reviews‼️
I have very sensitive heels that tend to get very sore and achy after a short while and I worked in demolition where im on my feet doing very hard work for up to 10 hours or more so i went searching for better insoles, tried many with no luck but THESE bad boys got me through a whole year and a half in that job very comfortably and affordable. About a year later in a new job now and i have swapped the SAME insoles into my new boots (they outlived the old boots!) for a another job of being on my feet and hard work all day long and they are still as great as when i bought them believe it or not!

Like hitting factory reset
One thing I liked about my boots was the insoles when I first got them. Constantly being on my feet the arch support was great. The quality was outstanding since they lasted two years before giving out. It only made sense I get the same type of inserts that came with my boots. They wear and feel like new. 10/10 would recommend
