NO STARS WOULD BE BETTER ! ...DO NOT , I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS DRIVE ! I copied a huge folder , it was 90 GIGs of old unreplaceable back up files (no longer the back up the but only surviving version of the file from a now dead pc s and Old phones etc etc.... ) from an external drive to move it temporarily to edit, and to look at later before returning it to the drive .ie Edited properly an re structured whilst i tidied up the external drive etc etc ...The USB drive stayed plugged in to the computer...I come back to the computer later this eve after going boggle eyed earlier doing an initial sort. ( the initial dump was done in the afternoon ) ALL I have left on the new drive is THE ORIGINAL FILE NAME FOLDER, BUT NO CONTENTS. I thought i was going mad...I was mad because strangely enough that data wasnt a back up of a back up, Old photos, text, documents from old phones etc etc it was the only surviving copy . It was SAFE ! Until copied it to this drive. To prove it was not an accidental error on my part , I have copied a folder on the laptop ( 7 gig ) to the drive...It has done similar. To prove it was happening, I have re copied this file the same 7 gig, already on the laptop. This time i have been taking screen shots of the file folder properties.The folder has gone from 7 gig to 3 gig in just over an hour. I dont know how, i don't know why BUT THIS DISK IS FAULTY AND HAS LOST ME A NINETY GIG TEMPORARY MOVE OF DATA THATS IRREPLACEABLE . Some is staying, the new data IS NOT ! ...I WANT A REFUND AND I WANT AN EXPLANATION ! .If this was my only copy of new photographic files . THEY WOULD ALL BE LOST ! .THIS IS A SEVERE PROBLEM. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS DISK AGAIN. ITS A DISGRACE ! I SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE DOES NOT EITHER ! im continuing to monitor the properties, but i suspect very shortly my trial folder of seven gig will be ZERO AGAIN ...I will publish the screen traps shortly, noone will probably believe me, but its the truth and thats what is happening !

They say if it looks too good to be true it probably is, and that's certainly the case with this item. It looks good but after many attempts to copy files on to it I've given up. Files would copy onto the memory stick but then some of them were inaccessible, but would not allow me to delete them, I finally gave up after successfully downloading a dozen files, only to find I could not access the key at all, receiving notification that there were errors on the drive and several attempts to repair I gave it up as bad job.

Don’t bother with this. The saying is true that if it looks too good to be true it probably is!I tried numerous times to transfer photo files to the stick and every few minutes kept failing and telling me the files were corrupted, which they aren’t ! . It was also very very slow predicting hours to transfer the data.so i bought a sandisk instead and the data transferred accurately and quickly first time in about a 20th if the time predicted by the other.

Check the other 1 star review... I have had exactly the same problem, files disappearing from folders minutes after they created. Sometimes even the second the transfer finishes. Other times files are there but are corrupt. Plus I just noticed that EVERY SINGLE 5 star review for this product was written on the same date... Suspicious, no?

If only the actual reviews were there when I bought this drive I would NEVER buy it. But it had good reviews at the time (fake I guess). I was using it for some time now, it was working ok for a week or so. After that, when I moved all my work files (thank God I kept backups) it stopped working. I mean you still can move files to the drive. Bug they wi disappear. And the ones that don't, you won't be able to access them. At this point, every time I create new folder I can't move anything there, I get error messages all the time. This drive is useless. DO NOT BUY

The Drive simply doesn't work - 2 weeks to copy 1 Tb! Steer well away from this supplier. Either their quality control is failing or there are FAKE reviews on Amazon. Complete waste of money.

I bought this particularly for storing photos but after transferring 32GB worth of mixed jpeg and raw files, only around 8-12GB worth were able to be viewed; the rest reporting either jpeg file marker issues or corrupted files. I knew the originals worked so re-formatted the drive and tried again. Same. Re-formatted and re-tried from a different set of files. Same again. Third time lucky? This time tried storing non-photo files and the same thing - files ok up to around 12GB but then reporting corruption or unable to read.Save your money.

The design is really good. Decent memory size and nice and compact.It has a keyring hole too which easily fits a small split ring.Used these for a while now and never had a problem.It do exactly what you need.
