Red KapMen's Double Knee No-Scratch Shop Pants

These are what you want. My husband does HVAC, and ive been patching and stitching holes in his work pants for almost 20 years. He could destroy anything in a month. These pants can stand up to crawlspaces, attics, rough basement floors, sheet metal, tools, driveway concrete, you name it. He got these 4 and a half months ago and they are still like brand new. The stitching is incredibly strong, the material is very thick and rugged. They fit perfect, they have multiple pockets and spots for your tools, and they wash clean everytime. Also, they look nice, so you can go out to dinner right after work, provided you were not installing a furnace in somebodys dog poop cockroach basement that day.If you are looking for work pants that can stand up to a man that actually works, THESE ARE THE PANTS.They are not bleach proof.

These pants from Red Kap are very good. I am a contractor and I wear these everyday. I would normally wear out a pair of wranglers in a year. These pants are much more comfortable and breath alot better. These pants are super tough. I do alot of work in crawlspaces and attics and these have held up to everything I do.The downsides is that they do fade. The pair on the left in the picture is after a year's worth of work. The pair on the right was just purchased. However I'm not in a beauty pageant so I don't care. Why I gave these four stars instead of five is that they do shrink a bit. They get a bit snug after washing them 52 times.I would definitely order these again and plan on it. I will just order the next waist and length size up.

These are exactly what I have been looking for. They have cargo pockets and the right side is setup for carrying my cell phone! They are extremely comfortable, fit well and the details of manufacturing are superb! You will not be disappointed in these. The price is amazing for what they are. I will be ordering more!*** April 2, 2016 Update ***I wanted to share that I have been wearing these daily and have many wash cycles on them and they are holding up beautifully. The color looks as good as the day I purchased them. I have a told of four pairs now. Truly worth the 5 star rating.*** April 18, 2016 Second Update ***I ordered two more pairs of these and I had to send them back. The hem on the pants was not finished. See attached photo. I had given 5 stars as I had posted earlier however felt I had to lower to 3 stars due to a quality control issue with my recent order.*** April 19, 2016 3rd Update ***I received replacement for the two pairs that had issues. Both of the replacements are fine. No problems, I'm a happy camper once again. Stars moved up a notch to 4 stars.

Weird pants. I wore red kap pants as my uniform for a long time, and these fit nothing like my uniform pants. Waist was tight, crotch was super high, legs were too baggy and a couple inches too short. When I sat down I had a wedgie and the bottom hem was like half way between my ankle and knee. All this while being super baggy. The button hole is elastic and while it didn’t pop out it seemed like it could. The material is ok, and the pockets seem like they might be helpful. The fit is just too weird. Might fit for some kind of weird body? Like if you had a skinny low waist and big short legs these would be the perfect pants for you.

Tried on pants soon as I got them...and fit alone is amazing. Best fitting pair of pants/work pants I have ever owned. I'm usually the in between sizes ..but these 36w 30l pants fit like they were made just for me. I love how it fits you great while having to squat and bend at the waist..they are just so comfortable. Fits my rear end perfectly (makes it look great for the ladies). Even sitting down is super comfortable. Love the extra material at the knees, inside the pockets and at the waist/button. Riveted button. And an actual, real patch for their logo on left side pocket. Right side pockets are perfect for a phone , note pad, or just a wrench or two. Definitely buying a few more soon. Both my jobs require these type of pants. One is messy and one requires black jeans/pants. :)

I really like the fit and features of these pants, so much so that I'm going to compare them to another pant that I really like. That brand starts with a K and has an umlaut on the vowel. The fit of the Redkap is similar. It has a jeans cut in the waist and jeans-style horizontal slash pockets, instead of diagonal pockets, like chinos, which I can't stand. The crotch is a little lower than Ks, but not so much that they look dorky. Combined with the gusset, they give you plenty of room for moving around without binding up your undercarriage. Overall, the fit is relaxed without looking or feeling too baggy. The sizing is spot on- 32x34 have just the right inseam to cover the tops of my shoes without piling up on them, and the waist fits close enough that a belt is optional, but they're not too tight.The fabric is fabulous, actually better IMO than K's because it has a coarse weave that feels good, stretches a little and looks tough but is light and feels more breathable than dense canvas. The double knees are fine. They give a little extra protection without being bulky and you don't notice they're there when wearing them. The cargo pockets are very functional, just right for holding a phone, wallet, a few small tools or whatever, without being over-engineered. I modified the left pocket by tearing out the stitching on the rear edge of the flap, resewing the seam and installing a heavy duty snap. Now it's easier to get things in and out of that pocket, but it still keeps my wallet from falling out when I do backflips off of skyscrapers. Hahaha. It's not an essential mod but it makes the pocket more user-friendly.Only a couple cons: The stitching is not as nicely done as K's, there are thread ends sticking out here and there. The colors are pretty basic, not as "designer" as Ks. But I'm not entering a fashion contest so I don't care.The clincher for me is that these are a little over 1/3 the price of Ks. I ordered two more pairs in khaki and navy. I also ordered some shorts. That's how much I like them. I highly recommend the Redkaps!

These pants fit well, the flexible waist is really nice as is the covered button. Sizing seems spot on. I was prepared to order more pairs but this pair rapidly pilled and now looks like a 1960s polyester fuzz ball disaster. It shouldn't matter in a work pant, but I find it irritating that the fabric technology is 50yrs out of date. I emailed Red Kap to ask about the pilling but they didn't reply. My search for a durable and comfortable work pant continues.

The quality is good ,textile and sewing are really good, it's not heavy and it also fits good.as a Maintenance , I needed more pockets or straps where I can hang my tools, it has some but not sufficient. also its little too much baggy but overall it worth trying. It worth 39.99 CAD max . Thank you

Stretchy Waist, reinforced hip pockets. Functional cargo and phone pockets.Grey color not as dark as pictured. If you are expecting something like charcoal then go with black.

I really like the pants, fit good, wear good, look good!! I bought two pairs, ordered another and I will continue to buy them going forward!!
