A great overview from a leading authority
I have to confess that I have a great deal of respect for John Michael Greer and would read absolutely anything he publishes! His depths of wisdom and insight into Druidry have proven to be instrumental in my own journey in a way that few other teachings have. I find myself referring back to his works almost every day, and this book is no exception. John Michael provides a very good and thorough outline of many key pieces that have influenced the modern Druidic movement and this makes this book essential reading for anyone serious anout this path. Many will object to his inclusion of Morgannwg, but one cannot deny the profound influences of Iolo's work on modern Druidic thinking. The Druidic Revival has struck many as lacking in authenticity, but I, and certainly many others, have found great inspiration from the flourishing of thought which accompanied it, and that sort of inspiration cannot be denied as being important. Two enthusiastic thumbs and my staff raised in approval!!

I did enjoy it. I need to go through it once more and I hope to get a better perspective. I think I might have missed a little bit the first time.
