Seachem Zeolite 4 L

I use SeaChem Zeolite in all my tanks (10g, 40g, and 60g) to help ensure the best possible environment for my fish. Zeolite does a fantastic job of helping to eliminate nitrite and nitrate from the water, and it also helps with ammonia removal for those of us who push our tank stocking a little bit. This size container is a great value as well. Even now some 8 or so months after purchase, the container isn’t yet empty. Zeolite can be rinsed and returned to service, and will remain effective for AT LEAST a month. I have verified this through regular water testing. Bottom line, this is highly effective and a tremendous value.

Finer grain about the size of pepper kernels I find it does a better job filtering then the large chunks that are more common to find at big box stores (the size of cat litter)

I don't know how well the product works but haven't had any issues or spikes in ammonia. The downside is th chips are very small they stick to your hand and mesh bags super easy. Used a mesh bag to rinse off fine particles from chips to put in box filter there the trouble began. Would use again in conjunction with larger chips but would find a way to rinse without having to use mesh bags or touching it.

This Zeolite works great! Cleared my aquarium of all ammonia in 24 hours or so. Compared to other store brands which cost $9.00 - 12.00 for a just a small amount of product. This is the way to go. Big Bucket full. Will last me at least a year. No more recharging the expensive off the shelf brands. Just toss it and dip more out of the bucket. An excellent product. An unbelievable amount of product. At an amazingly low price. 5 STARS!

Clears up cloudy aquarium water in very little time.

I bought this for $30 in mid-2021. Now, it's $45. I'll wait for price to come back to earth. Seachem has been going way up on everything.

I added this entire bucket to my 1000 gallon pond and in 48 hours there has been NO change. I placed it in mesh bags, and then in 2 layers of pantihose because the grain is so fine. It took FOREVER to rinse off to an acceptable level of particulate coming off of it, as I didn't want to harm my fish. I placed it in the bottom of my trickle filter where all water circulates through and there is no difference at all. What a waste of $55 for the product and mesh bags.
