Dead Girls Don't Lie Paperback – October 21, 2014

I loved how captivating the story was and how quickly I couldn't put it down. It was so unpredictable and I really appreciate that! I also liked how she tied in a different culture and addressed issues of discrimination. I think every YA could benefit from those lessons in the book, even though they were subtle.One thing I appreciate as a parent is being able to recommend the book to my children knowing that there isn't inappropriate romance scenes. She tastefully handles the romance in the book.The end was surprising and tender. I loved the last chapter!

This book is one of those books you can finish in one go. I loved the characters and the twists and turns of the story always made me want to keep reading. It is well written, flowing so smoothly that you feel you're there with these characters and living in this small town with them. It definitely engulfs you, dissolving the world around you. You become the main character trying to figure out what happened, all while being swept up in a young love everyone craves! Though written for younger readers, this book is exciting for any age. On top of that, older readers, like myself, will feel young again! I absolutely recommend this book, no hesitation to purchase needed. I'll keep an eye out for more from this author!

Pretty good book

I absolutely loved this book. Very well written. One of my top favorite mystery novels. Never could have guessed the ending. Also it starts fast so you don’t have to force yourself read the beginning to get into the book.

amazing book, first book i’ve ever finished and i did it urn 3 days!!

Wow. She knows how to weave a good mystery. But, I have the mind of a detective. When Jaycee got the note saying The Cross Is The Key, or something along those lines, I immediately suspected Eric, Evan, and Skyler. I loved this book so much and I've been wanting to read it since I saw it in our school book fair. ( and it was even better for me since I had an ex-boyfriend named Skyler.) But over all it was a great book, and I only read it so quickly because I read ridiculously fast and it was such a great book!!!

I bought her book 'Breaking Beautiful' on the recommendation of a friend. I really enjoyed it-great book! This book was enjoyable-but I enjoyed 'Breaking Beautiful' more. However, I wound definitely buy any of her future book :)

How it was fantastic and it drew me in, but I just don't do issue books? I knew this one wouldn't be like that. Again, it drew me in in the first few pages and I didn't want to put it down. I think the clues to what was going on were set at the perfect pace and mostly I discovered right along with Jaycee. Even the stuff I figured out, it was still absolutely believable that a person in that situation wouldn't see what we see as readers. Even though I sort of saw where it was going at about mid-way through, it was still a great twist to the story.Content:Sex 2/5 - Kissing between Jaycee and Skylar gets heated at moments, but never beyond that.Language 1/5 - There's a few instances.Violence 3/5 - It IS a mystery and it involves gang violence. the book was very clever and followed a great storyline. there's not much i can say about it without spoiling the book. would highly recommend it to any avid book reader
