Ready to go out of the box
I received these and was expecting I would need to hone them. They were SHARP right out of the box and cut the leather with great results. I had to cut curves and they did not slip nor tear the leather. I only wish that one was left hand beveled and one was right hand beveled but that is just a preference of mine. The handles are comfortable for my hands. I would recommend these to all my leather working friends.

Great buy! Don't sleep on these.
Razor sharp right out of the package! Great fit and finish for the price. These are great for skiving and straight cuts. They won't replace the versatility of using a head knife but they definitely have a place in your leather working kit, especially at the sub $15 price point. I was expecting much less quality when I ordered them and I am pleasantly surprised. Grab a set and put them to work!

Impressed!
You can work with these right out of the package, but of course any leather worker is going to polish his tool! So off I went and they're great. Price point had me skeptical, not any more. Don't hesitate, these are great! Thanks.

Fine
They were fine but I ended up not needing them.

Sharp, ergonomic, dependable, and beautiful.
These cut like butter! I'm finding that when I'm doing leather work, these are almost always in my hands. I don't know how I crafted without them.

Bang For Your Buck!
Real good pair of blades for the money. Very easy to maintain sharp. Just put it through a strop a few times and it's ready to go.

The worst steel
I ordered these to try this style of knife for leather work. I expected that they would need a good edge put on them due to the price. So I sharpened them till they would cut leather just by looking at it, however after cutting and skiving two pockets for a wallet they needed to be sharpened again. One knife = one pocket. The edge rolled so badly that I had to go back to a stone to sharpen these knives. I talked to a friend that is a blade smith (he makes knives for a living I just can't afford them), he told me that they are most likely poor quality steel and not hardened properly or hardened at all. Don't waste your money on these knives, save your money and buy a better one.
