Yes, it really does work! Highly recommended!! Don't go over 340 degrees!
UPDATE 2:Bought a second one because after 2 1/2 years, some of the tips of the bristles on my first one have slowly been breaking off. I’m very careful with it so I don’t really know how it happened but I use it daily and maybe then constant use caused the tips to eventually crack and fall off (see pic). That all being said, it still works. But I was worried that without the protective tips that I could possibly doing damage to the beard. So I kept that one as a back up and bought a new one. I still highly recommend it and still highly recommend that you don’t go over 340°.UPDATE:Now that I have been using this for 2 years, at 450 degrees, I have come back to say DON'T DO 450! You will eventually have beard breakage. I did. Mine happened in the very front, creating a divot in the area below my chin. Just too high of heat. After looking up recommended temps for straightening your beard, 350 was the recommended max. Oops! Wish I would have looked that up in the beginning. Since TTW brush only goes in increments of 20, I started setting mine to 340 degrees, and that still straightens it just fine. I still blow dry it first, and that gets it pretty straight. But TTW brush gets it even straighter. And the beard seems to be filling back in now that I dropped the temperature. I still highly recommend this brush. Just keep it at 340 degrees. Also in reading my initial review below, I no longer brush underneath/out because I found it created a weird swoop in my beard that I didn't care for. I will however, pull the front half up while brushing the back half downward, then brush out the front until straight. That leaves it nice and full under the chin back to the neck.INITIAL REVIEW:“Your beard is getting long!” is what a couple people have told me recently. Thing is, they’ve seen me fairly recent prior to saying that. And I know it’s not grown THAT much more. So what I attribute it to is having a straight beard. I’m getting the true length of my beard from this brush!I have seen many beard straightener brush ads on Facebook and Instagram, and finally a friend of mine with an equally glorious beard tried one (Not Tame the wild) and disappointingly said “it’s just a gimmick”. So I continued with just blow drying my beard straight, which was never perfect. It would still have waves in it. Ugh. Then another friend of mine told me about his “Tame the wild“ brush and how it really works for his VERY kinky and curly beard. So I decided to give this one a try.Right out of the box I was initially impressed by the quality of this brush. It’s got some weight to it and it is very solid. I was expecting a light plastic cheap feel. But that was not the case with this one. High quality stuff here! The instructions say to click the power button twice to get it to turn on. That never worked for me. Instead, HOLD the power button, and within 2 seconds it’s on. Raise the temperature to 450°, go get dressed and it’ll be ready when you return. For best results I would really recommend blow drying your beard dry, first. The brush works best on a dry beard. I do a 2-3 second brush through each section of my beard. So you don’t want to brush too slow but you also don’t want to brush too fast either.Besides brushing the normal way, you’ll also want to brush underneath your beard. I typically do 2 passes underneath and about 3-4 in the front. Once straightened, I will add beard oil, applying underneath the beard to the skin, comb it back out with my wooden beard comb and I’m good to go! My beard has never been softer, either!Again, I’m very happy with this brush. If you are annoyed by your wavy or curly beard and have been desiring a straight beard, look no further and get this brush!! See my pics for proof!

Lasts well enough.
Overall a great product! Worth the priceDownsides, after maybe about a year of use the comb tips started breaking off, and it is extremely difficult or almost impossible to clean. and also once you set the temperature, it stabilizes a bit but the temperature sensor shuts off and it still does get hotter if you let it sit. You can tell this by turning it off and back on again and it’ll lower itself back to the proper temperature so just be aware.I’ve tried a few different things (which honestly though I didn’t use anything too strong could have led to the chips breaking off) but mostly I just tried to use Q-tips or soapy cloths between the bristles but that never worked very well and it was extremely tedious.Overall 8 out of 10 a good product, straightened my very curly and obnoxious beard. I will probably need to purchase a replacement soon.

Best product to use for long beard
The last time I had the same brush, it lasted me six years. The one I just received has improved from the first one I had. I have a long beard and this is the only reason I can maintain it if you’re growing your beard. This is the best product you can get.

Works Great
This straightener gets hot fast and has deeper "bristles" to get the heat where you need it. I used to think that all beard straighteners were the same, but that is definitely not true. This one is head and shoulders above other brands.

It was great for 1 year
I used this almost every day for one year and it worked great. It left my beard soft and straight. Almost a year to the day it stopped turning on. I feel that these should last longer. This was my second beard straightener. The first one lasted just a couple of months before it shorted out but that was a different brand altogether. Good product I just wish it lasted longer.

What a great brush!
NEVER, do I EVER, leave reviews. Add to it the fact that I'm uploading two personal photos to back-up my review and you have yourself reading the review of a truly honest happy customer here. This thing absolutely rocks! It performs far better than I had anticipated. As you can see from my photos, my beard is cave-man status length, thick as an osprey nest, and naturally pretty curly. Up to this point, I've never been able to achieve what I deem to be even a somewhat "straight" hair look. Thanks to this though, that barrier has been broken. Truly delivers on the name, Tame The Wild! The Brush heat's up very quickly, is easy to use but not easy to 'accidentally' adjust (lock setting is superb), has a wide variety of temp settings which you should definitely follow their directions and work your way from the lowest setting, up to a heat level safe for your hair type. It has a very handy adjustable swivel for the cord so switching sides, going under/over the beard etc. is easy with no interference. The heat plate is very even across the whole brush and there are no "hotspots". You can press it right up to your skin with no danger of being burned. The tines are very comfortable and dont pull or tear at your hair. It's a good looking mans brush, with a matte black finish, red logo and a solid feel to it. It brushes through my tangled morning mess of a beard with relative ease in just minutes with no help from any other brushes, combs or products. This has definitely become part of my everyday morning routine given how easy it is to use! If you're serious about your beard, stop reading reviews for hours like I did before I bought this, and just buy it. The only problem you're going to have is keeping your lady's hands off it once she realizes how easy it is to use, which will be obvious from how good your beard will look!
