Fox Run Kitchen Brush, Natural Horsehair Fiber Dish and Glass Brush, 10"

This dish brush is super fluffy and a lot larger than I thought it would be. It is very well made and cleans great. It fits in wine glasses easily even thought the brush head is super fluffy. I have washed some plates with it and it is great with all other dishes, too. It's cute and well made, I can tell it will last forever, and it works really well....and it's not made of plastic crap! So glad for this option. I 100% reccomend!

No mold as I keep it upright and it dries quickly. No bristles lost. Sturdy and cleans great

Great bottle brush. Took about 3 years to start losing bristles. Will purchase another one when ready! Worth it to not have to use plastic sponges that are impossible to disinfect and bad for the environment. Saved money compared to using walnut sponges.

I returned this because the handle was too short for my drink bottles. It is made well so it would be useful for other cleaning needs. It had good bristles. I would recommend it for general use

My new horse-hair brush is s soft and pliable and I can tell right away it’s going to be great to use to get to those hard to reach places that my hard soap-dispensing kitchen brush can’t reach. I do like to use all compostable materials and multi-use items where I can. We have begun to hand wash our dishes after disillusionment with dishwashing machines, and I prefer brushes to sponges for this task. The size and shape of this brush is useful, but this one sheds bristles a great deal, and this has not abated over time. It is still a useful item, I have been using it for some four months. But it is not as sturdy as a Redecker would be.

Sturdy, bristle are firmly inserted. Very nice.

As soon as I opened the package bristles were breaking off and falling out and it was covered in a substance that looked like dirt. It is too large to fit in a regular mouth mason jar and even most glasses...and the bristles won't flex to allow it to fit, they just break. If you use it for scrubbing anything the bristles constantly break off or just completely fall out. I thought as a last effort to not just throw it away I would try using it as a toilet brush but the handle is too short for that, and of course the bristles just kept breaking anyway. This was just a very bad purchase that will not be used for anything.

I use these brushes daily in my kitchen. One for just vegetables and one for dishes. Have purchased in the past and will continue to purchase. They do wear out but that is just based on daily use..would recommend.

Lo compre porque esta muy pachón, pero tira mucho las cerdas desde nuevo, si bien cumple su cometido, pienso que no durará mucho y es un poco alto el precio del producto, no lo volveré a comprar.

To address other complaints with this brush:(1) Mould: yes, this will go mouldy, and it'll do so pretty quickly if you use the same brush daily/it doesn't *regularly* get a chance to fully dry out. Remember this is a 100% natural, biodegradable product, not plastic or treated wood! If you want to maximize the lifespan of your brush, buy at least a few of them and rotate through them consistently so each brush gets to completely dry out between uses. I have put my brushes through the dishwasher multiple times on the sanitize setting. I don't know if this actually helped prolong their life, but it certainly didn't do them any harm.(2) Shedding: yes, this will happen over time/with use. I suspect the bristles are held in place with glue, which must soften up over time. The same brush rotation will help delay this as well, but do expect this to happen eventually.That said you can't purchase a horsehair bristle brush with a raw wood handle and expect it to hold up the same as plastic. I buy this both because it's the best design out there for washing your dishes/there is no plastic equivalent, and it's biodegradable. If you don't want something you can literally chuck in your greenbin once it's reached the end of it's life/expect it to last forever, buy a plastic brush. I realize these are pricey to eventually throw out, but they work SO well & are so much better for the planet, it's worth it!
