Great Wall Mount—But Check Some Things BEFORE You Start.
Heavy duty wall mount. This wall mount is robust to say the least. It is fairly heavy and it's a handful for one person to put up. (The instructions recommend two people.) It works quite well. I mounted it on the wall in our exercise room and it's exactly what we needed.• Plenty of room to turn the TV side to side to angle it so it can be seen better from both sides of the room.• Tilt can also be easily adjusted by my wife if she's doing floor exercises.• I mounted a 43" Samsung TV and a VIZIO 38" Sound Bar, but this will easily hold much larger TVs. Up to 130 lbs! That being said I do have a few minor complaints:1. The mounting template is NOT straight! The top edge is not parallel to the cut out drill locating holes. I made the mistake of trusting the top edge of the template to be parallel with the holes and it isn't. Had to realign everything when I realized the taped up template wasn't sitting straight on the wall. (Measure twice—drill once. Okay, drill four times)• MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD QUALITY STUD FINDER!!!! To find the stud centers. (I really like my Zircon i500 that I bought at Home Depot a few years ago. It's been right on the money every time.) The lag bolts MUST go into the studs (or concrete) to support the weight of both the mount and TV.• I wound up using a pencil with the level to mark the top two drill holes centered on the two studs. Then placing the template holes over the marks, taping the template in place, as shown in the instructions, and locating the bottom two holes. It's easier than it sounds.• The template is quite clever. It has a pocket that unfolds to catch the debris from drilling, and it worked well catching most of it.• Obviously, if you're going to feed the cables through the wall, do it before you hang the mount.• I did not have to level the TV once I had it up. There is a way to adjust the level on the mount after the TV is installed, but it was dead on square.2. Locate your cable positions BEFORE you put everything up! Test to make sure your cables will fit into the TV.• This is not addressed in the instructions.• The vertical TV brackets hang onto the wall plate. Your cables may have to go between the plate and the TV. Different TVs have different locations. There are holes in the plate to feed the cables through, but I had to adjust the positioning of the brackets on the TV to ensure that the cables would fit properly onto my older Samsung TV. I adjusted the positioning by moving the brackets up about a half inch using the holes in the brackets.• Coaxial, HDMI, RCA, Optical & Power sockets were all in the middle of my TV right behind the mounting plate. (Especially the coaxial cable from the cable box, and the RCA cables from the game system. Do they make 90° RCA plugs?) It was difficult to reach the sockets with the TV already mounted.• You may have to use spacers to give them enough room.3. The plastic caps that cover the bottom holes on the arm hinges kept falling out. Once I got everything up and operating, they have stayed in place.Additional Note:I did have to go to the hardware store to get four M8-35mm bolts to work with my TV and the mount. I purchased black hex drive bolts. The Kanto mount comes with 40mm and 25mm bolts. But I needed 35mm to work with the spacers and the sound bar hanger I also attached. Make sure the bolts go all the way into the TV's mounting holes to ensure there is enough support. Fit everything to make sure. I had to use some of the included spacers and washers to allow the brackets to clear the bottom ridge on the back of my Samsung TV.Again, this all sounds more complex than it really is.• It's an easy project. It took me about two hours of actual work, not including going to the hardware store and remounting the TV brackets.• If you preplan and check the item locations, you will prevent annoying redoes later. (I found out about the cables the hard way.)Great wall mount. Sturdy, versatile and very well made with good instructions. Does its job perfectly.

Great Mount!
I bought this bracket because it had more horizontal holes for the lag bolts than other brackets. My studs weren't in a position to center the T.V. where we wanted. These extra holes allowed me to shift the bracket to the side to offset the stud positions. I used the lag bolts into the wood studs. It is built well giving you the confidence it will hold your large Screen T.V. It moves easily to the angles I want and feels very secure. When you don't need sharp viewing angles it folds very flat and close to the wall comparable to other brackets that don't give you the extra viewing angles.I used the Franklin Sensors ProSensor T6 Professional Stud Finder bought from Amazon, and had no issues mounting it. I would recommend this product to everyone with one minor exception because no mount could be perfect for every T.V.My T.V. Hdmi 1 port was blocked by the metal center of this bracket. My T.V. fortunately had other HDMI ports on it's side, so I was able to plug my cable in there. Of course you then have to use the input of HDMI2 instead of HDMI1 but since I never change the input after it is set because it comes from my home theater which handles the device switching, it is a very minor complaint. If you only have one HDMI port and it is in the center of the back of your T.V.... well you might need a more open bracket. If you have other HDMI ports or they are not in the center back of your tv, you can buy this product with confidence.

Super sturdy wall mount
This is a fantastic piece of hardware. I purchased the FMX2 for my Samsung 70" TV. I have 24 inch on center studs, so this was one of the few mounts that was compatible. It was on the pricier side, but based on all the positive reviews, I decided to go with Kanto. This thing is super heavy duty and heavy. I mounted to the wall on my own, but I wouldn't recommend everyone trying this. The mount is heavy and awkward to try and hold up with one hand while bolting it in.The hardware connected to the TV using the shorter of 2 sets of bolts that had combatable thread along with the smaller plastic spacers and washers. This seemed like the best configuration because without the spacers or with the longer bolts the screws would bottom out before being fully tightened. I only hope that enough thread is catching to make the connection to the TV secure. I pre-drilled the mounting holes and the lag bolts went all the way in with no problems. The large square holes in the wall plate are perfect for adding a power and video wall plate. Makes the final product look extremely clean and professional. The mount articulates away and towards the wall, swivels left right on the center axis, tilts forward and back, and can even move horizontally left and right, perpendicular to the wall. My only small complaint is the TV can be difficult to move in and out once it has been fully extended. The first time I tried it, I was worried I would damage my TV. I ended up going behind the TV and manually spreading the arms to pull the TV back towards the wall. Once the TV was close enough to the wall, it moves relatively easily.

Solid mount, great brand (2nd time buying), would buy again
Have a heavy 100lbs Panasonic 60" plasma that needed to go over a fireplace. It came with a nice paper stencil to make the drilling easy and kept it leveled/centred. At the same time, I bought a cheaper competitor (won't name them outright but it was from P...C...ca) for a 42" to compare the two brands. Both times I had a friend help me mount and the stencil made all the difference. The other was also a solid mount but if I bought again, I'd definitely make my own stencil. Anyway, this model came with a well labeled set of screws/washers/bolts and a great manual. There's also a good video on their website for this model. 5 stars across except for ease of install. I couldn't give it 5 but would've gave it a 4.5. The mount is very heavy so you'll need 2 people to do it. But considering how heavy my tv is, I'm kind of glad how beefy this mount is. It is also kind of stiff to move but I'll take that over being too loose. Great mount, highly recommend.

Great quality product for a budget price
Great quality product for a budget price. Easy to mount, just tape the template to the wall and drill in the appropriate places. The TV (65 inch) was easy enough to fix to the tv bracket and then lift onto the wall mount as well. After ordering I received a mail from their support organisation with contact details in case I needed assistance and they also send an instructional video.

Lots of flexibility
This TV mount was what I was looking for and since it was made in Canada, that was my deciding factor. I know other brands are less expensive in some cases, but the FMX2 is solidly built. The flexibility for positioning all the angles and extension from the wall gives you all you could ask for in this kind of mount. My TV was being mounted above a fireplace that has a fan to blow the heat into the room, but the wall surrounding is granite stone, which is not at all even. The ability to have to position your TV other than flat against the wall was right for my situation. It does require 2 people to hold it up to screw it in place, because the unit is rather heavy to hold yourself, especially in my case. This isn't a negative, since you only install it once. Some reviews did say how stiff it was to adjust. Extending and pushing back to the wall is stiff, but you wouldn't have to do that very often anyway. I'd rather this than too loose and causing other problems. Instructions are accurate and the cardboard template make it easy to get the right position for mounting.
