This is a German produced light to STvZO (German bicycle road lighting regulations)This is loaded with the latest LED bulbs and modern electronics. Not so the dim yellows of yesteryear this headlight, when coupled to a modern dymo, produces a clean bright light that is stunning. Usable down unlight tracks.The top cover also means a clean cut off so as to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.It only requires about 5mph to get this baby light up (on 26" wheels) so no need to race.If your tired of carrying batteries, or trying to find charging points then a modern dymo set up could be your answer and this is amoungst the best on the market.I could write a lot about this but it would be easier for you to visit the Bush & muller website for specs, and you can believe what they say.

Using this with a Schmidt hub dynamo and it produces a nice bright and wide beam. It's also great that it can switch off the light as it replaces a light which some ned tore off because the standlight remained on after I parked the bike.

For a dynamo light, the light output is absolutely amazing. Very bright & terrific beam width. Good enough for pitch-dark country lane riding and / or competing with car headlights for being seen in town. The inbuilt battery means the standlight stays on essentially indefinitely when you aren't moving.Being able to charge your USB devices is a niche feature, but very useful for keeping phone / GPS alive for longer rides (it's only 1A output so isn't enough for some gadgets tho)However, there are a couple of downsides worth mentioning. Firstly: the light is quite big and designed to be mounted above your fork crown - if you have a road bike, you'll probably find your gear & brake cables are trying to occupy the same space & you'll need some ingenious routing or careful cable-tying to avoid snagging when steering or disconnecting your light at inopportune moments! Secondly: the standard issue mount is very chunky, if you have caliper brakes or narrow clearance between crown & headset, it can interfere. This can be solved by getting yourself the B&M 470H1 caliper mount. A little hard to find in the UK, but you can always order direct from B&M in Germany.

I have done several audax rides with this lamp , including Paris-Brest-Paris & I can't recommend highly enough.Perfect.

The media could not be loaded.  Verarbeitung schlecht. Wasser kann eindringen und führt zum Ausfall der Lampe. Zunächst Blinken, dann komplettausfall. Kann vor der Lampe nur warnen. Hatte sowas noch nie bei einer Fahrradlampe. Die Ausleuchtung der Straße ist super! Aber bei dem Preis eine Lampe, die gleich defekt ist...

Wir haben an insgesamt 6 Rädern diese Lampe. Man kann damit Mobilphone und Navi laden, sie macht tolles Licht (Helligkeit und Lichtbild) - aber nur, wenn sie funktioniert. An meinem Stadtrad habe ich mittlerweile die 3. und am Reiserad die 2. Lampe (alles auf Gewährlesitung, da binnen des ersten Jahres passiert). Der Rest der Famile hat noch die erste, allerdings bei einem Bruchteil der Kilometer bzw. Nutzungsdauer.Mein Händler "verweigert" mittlerweile den Vertrieb und empfiehlt seinen Kunden Alternativprodukte. Ich finde zu recht.Für ein solch hochpreisiges Produkt erwarte ich eine gewisse Haltbarkeit. Anscheinend existiert bei BUMM kein vernünftiges Qualitätsdenken - weder im Produktdesign, noch in der Produktion.Die beiden Sterne kommen wie folgt Zustande: 7 Sterne für die Lampe, wenn sie funktioniert abzgl. 5 Sterne für die Fehlerhäufigkeit infolge schlechter Qualität. Was bleibt ist ein nur sehr bedingt einsetzbares Produkt.

Positiv: Ein sehr guter Scheinwerfer, was die Leistung an sich angeht. Fernbedienung, Lichthupe und Ausleuchtung perfekt.Negativ: Das ganze Gehäuse ist ohne Dichtungen, auf der Unterseite sind die Kabelanschlussöffnungen wirklich offen. zusätzlich gibt es noch eine weitere Öffnung (Lüftung?). Die Folge, Feuchtigkeit dringt sehr leicht ein und sorgt für Aussetzer der Elektronik. Der USB-Anschluss wird über einen ansteckbaren Adapter realisiert. Dieser ist klein, kurz und versteckt sich leidenschaftlich gern an den unmöglichsten Orten, wenn man ihn gerade mal benötigt.

Para ser una luz tan cara, la verdad es que no estoy impresionado. La instalación resultó tediosa... los puertos de los cables están expuestos a la intemperie, he tenido que poner silicona y sellar varios puntos del foco. El uso del mando resulta confusa, fallando a veces, y haciéndome perder el tiempo. La salida USB funciona cuando quiere. Se ve bien eso si, y cuando alcanzas velocidad cumple expectativas. Me hubiera gastado fácilmente la mitad en otro modelo para lo que hace este.

Regenfahrten, ja.Mitführen im Regen auf Fahrradträger ist ohne Lampenschutz abzuraten. Lampe ist insges. schlecht bis in Teilen gar nicht abgedichtet.Funktionen für die eigentliche Nutzung einwandfrei.
