Pretty good, love the movie. Not a big fan of these previews though.
This book which I am reviewing is only the first 7 chapters of the book. It ends right after the bathroom scene in the movie. Overall I thought it was pretty good and thought it was fairly close to the movie. I absolutely love the movie, it’s one of my favorites so I’m glad they did a decent job on the book (I think the book came after the movie).Anyway, I would love to pick up the full version of the book and finish reading it, but at it’s normal price and having DRM I won’t be buying it. Because it has DRM it drops to 4/5.

So much fun! I want a frog now too!
Every once in a while you have to break away from all of this reality stuff and just enjoy yourself. This book would be my current recommended way to do that.Norman is not your average boy, and that is what makes this book such a great read. This angle has been done before but in my opinion, never in such a fun way. This story is very original and memorable.Paranorman is silly, fun and full of laughs. I think this book would delight children over five and make them laugh out loud. I loved that this author was so talented at giving us a look at the inner thoughts of a boy who can see the ghosts around him when most others can't.There is enough humor in this book to keep you chuckling from the beginning to the end. The story does not slow down or come to a point when you wonder if the author fell asleep while writing as I have seen in a lot of juvenile fiction works. I found the writing to be smooth and to have a nice flow.I particularly enjoyed the funeral scene. I can't wait to see more from this author.

Just Great
This was a fun book! I loved that the main character, Norman, could see ghosts but didn't freak out about it. His acceptance was refreshing and the book overall was funny and original. What I read was the first 7 chapters, a free read on my Kindle. Did it leave me wondering and wanting more? Absolutely. I certainly want to see the movie that this book was based on and I have high expectations for the characters in this book and their future adventures. This was a great book if your looking to escape into an interesting, funny but not overly complicated world.

Oops!
This might be a wonderful story, if it had received the editing that would have weeded out repeated paragraphs and other similar errors. In picking through the seeds of the story, there is a interesting story in this, but the need for editing detracts from readability. ParaNorman can see and speak with spirits which results in some very humorous moments.

Cute Book the Draws in on the Wonderful Film
This story takes you further into Norman's world, from undiscovered classrooms of Blithe Hollow Middle School to background family drama. It is a DEFINITE must-have for fans of the movie! If you left the film wanting more than this is perfect for you. I loved following Norman, Neil, Courtney and less included characters like Salma around this extension of the film.

Paranorman Elizabeth Cody Kimmel
I liked the book because it was spooky and included zombies. It was also good because when the zombies came alive you did not know what would happen so it made you want to keep on reading. I would recommend this book to children aged between 7 and 13.
