Functions as advertised
This is much better than I expected. Most inexpensive (many expensive ones cost over $250) converters come in plastic cases. This is metal. Given how I wanted to use this for an older Sony camcorder with composite video output, by using a short 3 cable 6 ft connector and an SDI style connector I can port the composite video into SDI, run the video over 70 ft of SDI cable and uplink it from SDI to HDMI with another converter and into a Blackmagic switcher. (Just remember how Blackmagic camera ports need to be configured for different cameras). ALSO it does NOT come with a power supply so you should find one to use with it. Amazon carries several brands with the required power for less than $12. Great product for its price point, a cudo it is in a indestructible case that should hold up in all my professional uses.

Black Magic routers will not display video
Beware, BM routers will not display video from this product but other monitors will. Not sure why yet.

Difficult to select correct output. Works but video a bit fuzzy.

This Device works as advertised. Supports most SMPTE formats. Good build quality.
Solid little box. I would have preferred it to have a BNC rather than an RCA for the CVBS port.
