ASURION 4 Year Home Improvement Protection Plan ($200 - $249.99)

You would expect an insurance product to specify the item being insured but the documentation Asurion send just refers your recent Amazon purchase without specifying the item. I have asked repeatedly for documentation showing specifically what my policy covers and initially received no response then when I called was told I would receive an email that would state it only to receive another generic email without the detail. Square trade provides much clearer documentation.

I will never purchase this coverage again. The representative and a supervisor wouldn’t help my elderly father with a product. They wouldn’t listen and continued to say it was Amazon’s issue. What happened to quality control at assurion? The company used to be fantastic and professional. I’m considering pulling insurance for all 5 lines I have with my cell provider since assurion is the company.

I like to get protection for my products, it’s just reassuring to know if something breaks or quit working I have this plan to fall back on.

Hate to use the warranty but if a product fails this company is there to help without excessive questions and does not try and wiggle out of helping. Very pleased with claim process.
