Amazing cook! We first learned of Krong at the Oceanside market, where we fell in love with her dumplings. Then we bought this cookbook and every single recipe is easy and has been just delicious. The recipes are unique and well crafted to taste better than anything you can get at a local restaurant. The pictures of the ingredients are also super helpful!

Awesome book. And Krong is a marvelous chef and teacher, just in case you get the opportunity to have her come to your home to teach you.Book has photos of the actual things/labels you need to buy to cook the dishes; very unusual.We love home-cooked Thai food!

Amazing!
This is a wonderful cookbook for anyone who has been afraid to cook Thai food before! The ingredients are clearly shown and explained and the step by step instructions for each recipe are easy to follow and uncomplicated! Great 1st volume. Can't wait for the 2nd!

I may never have to go out for thai again
The recipes I've tried so far are awesome. I've followed them to the letter and the results have been as good or better than my favorite local thai joint. Right now I have the Gaeng Ped Moo (Pork with Red Curry) simmering on the stove and I have high hopes! I love how this book has actual pictures of the products in the front so it makes your life so much easier finding some of the ingredients at your local asian market. Just make sure you use a good quality coconut milk in the curry recipes - it makes all the difference (the author shows the Chaokah brand of coconut milk in the inventory and it's a great option).

Brilliant!!!
This book is unlike any Thai Recipe book I have ever seen! Sure the recipies are great. Sure the pictures of the final dishes are beautiful. But the BEST part of this book is in the forward material!!! If you have ever been in an Asian supermarket you know how difficult it can be to figure out which ingredients to buy because you might not be able to read the label. THIS book actually has pictures of the products you need to buy! All you need to do is take this book (in whatever format) with you when you go shopping and there's no more guess work! Brilliant!

Scrumptious and practical
I just made the Kai Pad Cashew Nuts, Gaeng Kiew Wahn (a variation of the green curry recipe), and the Tom Kha Kai (soup). They were all delicious, I'd recommend the Kai Pad Cashew Nuts as it was as good as or better than any restaurant stir fry. What is really helpful about this cookbook is the front section, with pictures of the items you need to stock your pantry in order to cook Thai on a regular basis. The visuals are really helpful, especially when trying to decide what type of curry to buy (she shows the brand name). I'm inspired to try more dishes and feel more confident after my first try with these recipes.

Very good!
We got a cooking class from Krong and after that I bought her book. She describes very clearly how to make the recipes and it tastes so good! Definitely worth the buy.
