What a waste of money! This tea tastes like hot water! These days I've been regularly buying Duncan's Darjeeling Tea (250 gms tin version). And I wanted to try a different brand for a change.I heat water to just the right temperature. I make sure water does not reach boiling point. I tried with different quantities of tea leaves. Nothing helped. Where I rate Duncan's Darjeeling tea as a 4-5, this cannot be more than a 1.I don't add milk to the tea. I don't add sugar usually. But for this tea, I will probably need to add some sugar and make it taste at least like hot sugar water instead of just plain hot water :(

Its a superb tea with superb flavour. If you brew it properly it will give you a nice aroma with red wine like color, but with zero bitterness. If you like woody flowery aroma and a good red color then go for it. A big thanks for amazon as well as tearaja.

I ordered the tea on Amazon and received it on december 8.Didn't delay in tasting.And I must say, this has very peculiar taste, it tastes sweet even without adding sugar.I can smell the enticing fragrance of oranges. The aroma makes me feel fresh.And then about the taste, it's excellent. I've never had such an exotic black tea.And the packaging was really good, so there was no problem in the delivery.I had ordered the Tearaja Exotic Green Tea before, and that was very authentic too.So, all I need to say...Keep up the good work Tearaja.I'm sure the tea-lovers would surely love your efforts.

A lovely Orange Pekoe Darjeeling tea. Slightly different to the last one I purchase, I am getting use to the different darjeelings, and especially the orange pekoe. I am not a big tea drinker, but I can easily drink this tea, and black also!! So thats a big bonus for me. This is purchased for my husband and he really enjoys it. What a sight of relief when he had his first cup, he was in heaven!! Can't purchase this tea locally here. It comes from West Bengal, where hubby is from, so no doubt he will go and visit the Tearaja outlet. Really fantastic tea, aromatic, and so comforting.......and the company, oh wow, what fantastic customer service, wow, such a breath of fresh air........thank you so much.

The tea packet arrived two days before the delivery date, very well packed. Speaks volumes about professionalism of the vendor. Tea packets were double sealed inside the card board box. Was eager to taste the tea. The tea is really genuine from Lopchu gardens, having that unique smokey flavour. Some years back we were at Darjeeling and visited Lopchu tea gardens. The tea we tasted there had the same flavour and aroma as this tea. I and my wife are happy to discover a vendor who is selling genuinely good tea. There was a free sample - detox green tea. That also is excellent. I would recommend both these teas to tea lovers.
