Great Scooter for all day use
There are some good things about this scooter: a) the arm rests are both adjustable and removable (in fact we actually like it better without the arms and as a suggestion to Golden, ***we wish there was an alternate style of cane holder for attaching in the armrest receiver instead), b) the control panel is easy to understand and work, c) you can put the scooter in neutral to maneuver it someplace out of the way if the battery overloads and has to rest for 5 minutes befor resetting the breaker switch, d) the location of the charger port on the tiller doesn't necessitate much in the way of bending over as it is on the left under the control panel, e) it comes with two colors of plastic shrouds so if you don't feel like driving a red scooter or if something gets damaged you can switch to blue, f) the seat is roomy and comfy ( I see no need to purchase an upgraded seat for this scooter) and it pivots for easy access or use by a table, g) it has more clearnce and longer battery life than any other scooter we looked at. I am told it should do well on relatively level hard packed trails at the national park (I will come back to this and add more once I test that theory but that is what the company told me) We have already tested it at the San Diego Zoo where it took even the steep path through tiger trail without a problem, h) the battery life was great for both of the all day excursions we have gone on (zoo and a local festival), i) there is a receiver on the back of the seat to mount a cane holder or O2 tank holder or additional basket (purchased separately), j) and, you can set top speed to less than the maximum of which the scooter is capable if you wish. Some drawbacks: While my husband loves the scooter, you should be aware that... a) Unlike the Buzzaround XL model, you can't simply take out the batteries and bring them inside to charge at an outlet in addition to plugging in the charging cord to the scooter under the tiller handle to charge the batteries. You must bring the entire assembled scooter inside to the outlet in order to charge the batteries. This is somewhat inconvenient for a scooter that is primarily for outdoor use.***My suggestion to Golden engineers is that they really need to make a docking unit to plug the batteries into so you can leave everything but the batteries in the car. (like the one you put your iPhone into) We would totally buy one, b) The maximum degree of incline you can drive up is 6 degrees...but know that the instructions say you really shouldn't drive up or back down a ramp of any kind which includes to the platform you may want for transporting it on the back of your car if you need your trunk space for anything besides the scooter, c) Yes, it does break down into smaller parts for loading into your car. However, even the batteries individually are way heavy...the largest piece of the scooter is about 46 pounds and the lightest is 22. It is enough weight that my husband's bad back dictates that this scooter isn't for short shopping trips unless we break down and get that rear cargo carrier for loading it on the back of the vehicle, that we were hoping to avoid, and kind of makes the feature of breaking down into smaller pieces moot, d) Have no illusion about it's compactness for when you do break it down to put it in a trunk space. Even broken apart, it is going to occupy the entire trunk of our Prius and we had to really work at getting an arrangement that would allow for this (note comment on how to make it fit in the question section), e) Also, note that the battery range is based on a 200 pound load even though they claim total load weight of passenger and any items combined can be up to 330lbs....so don't be surprised if your range varies from the 16 miles quoted, d) Finally, the batteries aren't even a little charged when it arrives so assemble it near an outlet to charge it (12 hour charging time at least the first time by the way) and the delivery will only be to the curbside not inside your home or apartment. All in all I think any disadvantages of this scooter will be outweighed by the the positives as it will allow for all day outdoor excursions again. It is comfortable and easy to drive. We are looking forward to using it along the path that skirts the south rim of the Grand Canyon and at Disneyland and the zoo. (Note: items marked above with *** are suggestions to the manufacturing engineers, should they ever read the comments, and are not things the scooter has currently)

Easily breaks down for transport, super comfortable and long battery life.
I've rented Buzz around scooters before and when it came time to finally purchase one there was little doubt as to which one I'd buy . I've always loved how easily they break down and fit inside virtually any car trunk. The battery life is great. Im a medium sized man (5'9") who's a bit heavier than I should be and the seat and leg room are more than adequate and comfortable. I've used it all day long at zoos, airshow and outdoor festivals and never even came close to exhausting the batteries. The scooter is surprisingly quick and maneuverable. It's got a nice small turning radius that lets you get in and out of tight spaces. The interchangeable color panels and the front and rear lights are really a nice touch. The 4 wheel version drives great over unpaved surfaces, and it's very stable. Much more so than the 3 wheel version that I've rented and managed to tip over on loose gravel.I was even able to purchase a bumper kit from Golden that allows me to stand it up and store it out of the way in a corner of my living room. One of the best scooters out there for the money!

This Scooter is Awesome!
I bought this machine for my husband after his stroke a couple years ago. This machine has been a Godsend! It is easy to assemble and disassemble. The batteries are heavy, but they last! It has plenty of power and can go pretty much anywhere. Gravel, grass, dirt, cobblestone etc...(Stay away from snow and water) It can take some decent inclines, too! The seat swivels which comes in really handy for getting in and out. It has plenty of leg room and is quite sturdy. My husband is 5'11" and close to 300 lbs. The basket is nice to have. The hubby puts all kinds of stuff in there, even our little chihuahua. 😂In the 2 years we have had it, there has not been one single issue. This goes wherever we go and he uses it in our house, too. I am 53 and have no problems loading and unloading it into the back of our Acadia. I take the seat out, the batteries out, fold down the steering handle, lock it, put it in neutral, then I hoist the front end to the bed, then grab the back handle and it rolls right it. I then put it back in drive to keep it from rolling, put the seat and batteries in and off we go.A great, steady machine and worth every penny!

Quality scooter
The media could not be loaded. I am very pleased with my new scooter! It is very sturdy & the quality is there. It cost a little more than most I’ve looked at but so far it is definitely worth the extra $$. I am getting the hang of loading and unloading from my suv. A little heavier than I expected but that’s probably because it is not cheaply made!. It is living up to my expectations and now I can go places with my grandkids! We all took our scooters to the river and we had a blast! Even my 10 yr old granddaughter can drive it like a pro! That was the #1 reason for purchasing a scooter because I cannot walk very far without my knees giving out. I even ride it to my mailbox which is only about 100 ft but it is hard for me. I have a gravel driveway and it does good until I hit a soft patch. I definitely recommend this scooter to anyone. It arrived in just about 2 weeks & unpacking was not too hard. I did it all by myself!
